Feltwell Golf Club

Played a seniors match here today. Unfortunately the weather was dreadful and we only played 9 holes. The course was interesting and i would like to play it again some day when the weather is better. The staff and members were all extremely welcoming.

Excellent course and facilities, unmatched value for money.

Had a lesson with Jo, the Lady professional. She is Really Great. She listened to what, I thought was a problem with my swing. She totally got where I was going wrong. My Swing is so much better. Very reasonable price, for the care and attention she took. Playing Feltwell, next week looking forward to that. Very nice Golf Course and the members seem really welcoming and friendly.

I booked a 3 ball with a 12.00 tee off and the use of 2 buggies on sat 22nd Oct. Unfortunately there were not any staff available all day to hand over the buggy keys so we were unable to play as we had not taken our golf carts.. This would not have been an issue if there was a roster for committee members to hold a mobile phone with the number clearly displayed in the club. They could have organised someone to hand over the buggy keys. When we called the number advertised by the club it called a landline behind the locked bar. The club did email me and apologise 2 days later but it should never have happened the was no suggestion of what they could do in the future to avoid this happening again. A wasted traffic trip from Swindon, the weekend was not a great one. Can't comment on the course but it did look nice. We spoke to a couple of really nice members who were surprised that this could happen.

A friendly little members golf club. 9 holes but different tees for the second 9. It's a good starter course but does need some money spent on the course. Food in the Clubhouse was good quality and served with a smile.

Lisa &Justin ..what a team..Great food..you choose & they create to your wishes..we were an afternoon tea,there was a golf tournament dinner(Roast) & pm an 80th birthday..howz that! Easy location to find. Right besides RAF Feltwell. Plenty of parking..only criticisms were people couldn't hear each other as the other group were bigger & their chatter drowned us out..

Not a great course - bit like a ploughed field. Holes are uninteresting and the wind, which I am told is always present makes hard work. Will not be rushing back.
