ABM Taxis & Minibuses

Booked a taxi for 13:30 as had to be at work for 14:00 (only a ten minute journey from my house to my place of work) just to be then told that mt driver was 10 minutes away" then "5/6 minutes away" then "2/3 minutes away"... low and behold still waiting for taxi after 14:00."

I use ABM everyday to work pre booked this morn for 8.10..still waiting at 8.30 !!! It all depends who does bookings lady is always helpful and never a problem I was supposed to be starting work at 8.30 !! Annoyed

I've used this company for years and was sad to have my really first bad experience last night with a rude person on the base, very bad attitude and very unprofessional, the way he spoke to me was disgusting, definitely needs to go on a people's skills course. I was told to hurry up when they had messed the picking up point themselves and the man on the base continued to give attitude. The lady is always so lovely, but the man that works on the Sunday night shift definitely needs to learn how to speak to people, it's a business treat it as one !

Ordered a puppy taxi" day before to take my dog to kennels. On the day nothing arrived so phoned again & told on its way. Taxi arrived not puppy taxi. Told to put blanket on seat. No help. No apology.Driver said if I wanted to to get out & order another taxi. Manner EXTREMELY rude. No conversation. Yet another lost customer looking at other reviews. Do you want the custom?"

Always on time and reasonable rates for airport runs I wont use anyone else!

ABM used to be the one I recommended to everyone, now it’s just disappointment after disappointment. I’ve used the service for over a year to and from work amongst other things, sometimes got overcharged which admittedly wasn’t nice but not a massive deal.Lately the app hasn’t been picking up my requests, and if they do, the driver cancels and I have to wait even longer. Well, today was the last of it. The phone call handler was the rudest person I have spoken to. Stuck with 3% on my phone to get home I try the app to no luck, so I call ABM, I request a taxi TO my home address FROM the gym. Yup all fine, 10 minutes until the driver is there he says until I try and explain my phone is on 3% so I can’t answer any calls from the driver, but as I attempt to get a word in, he interrupts me saying thank you several times before hanging up. Rude, but fine.10 minutes pass before I finally get a text that my taxi is on its way, I check what number plate (2% on my phone) to see that the driver is being sent to my home address when it’s meant to pick me up from the gym first. I ring the call handler back (same person), explain that it’s going to the wrong address first and he becomes nasty. Says I wasn’t clear enough on the phone and that he will have to cancel the taxi driver and send another one. I try and explain that I said it correctly to which he replies that i did not and I was lying, he then said “well it’s a case of he said she said” and put the phone down on me. So, so incredibly rude. As a young woman waiting for a taxi with no phone I really didn’t appreciate how disrespectful the situation was. Definitely avoiding unless I REALLY need to use them. Disgusting service.

Great taxi company reception and drivers are always friendly and politeI always feel safe with this taxi company at all times which is important if your on your own .

Driver didn’t show up for the pre-booked and doubly confirmed booking until I chased, no update from driver. Left an 83 year old lady standing in the rain for 45 mins. Received an apology but first experience of using this firm has been very disappointing.
