Slaithwaite Striders Running Club

A fantastic, welcoming club with runs for all abilities. The club runs lots of wrap around activities and social events, whilst regularly supporting charities and the local community.

Friendly group with some high caliber runners. Would definitely recommend. There is something for all abilities.

I started running in 2020 in the 1st lockdown. I joined Slaithwaite Striders to learn more routes around the colne valley. I thought I'd prefer road running but now I love trails too. Getting out with other people for a chatty relaxed club run is great. I feel it's also helped my running confidence & speed, I've entered a few races with the Striders this year and won 2, which is something I never thought I'd do. Whatever your needs regards your running, beginning, improving or just for the social, slaithwaite striders are a fab inclusive club to join. Most definitely recommend.

Amazing club and community. Best decision I made since moving to the area was to join the club.Would recommend for anyone wanting to give running a go or for seasoned runners- suits absolutely everyone….and always great to get to know others around the area.
