Maria Celano Ballet Teacher - Passion and Technique School of Ballet

We have tried a number of different ballet classes for my 3 year old daughter and this is above and beyond the best class for miles! Maria is both nurturing and inspirational for the little ones. A fantastic introduction to ballet.

Maria is very enthusiastic about ballet and that reflects in her lessons. She is extremely professional and very good with children. Her instructions are age appropriate and she definitely knows how to keep the children entertained. Parents are allowed to watch the lessons from a distance and we can praise our children with clapping to give them that extra bit of support. My daughter has been doing ballet lessons at a different school which in my opinion where not very well structured or had much to do with learning about the art of ballet, but more to keep the kids entertained and dancing. If you want your child to learn how to do proper ballet than Maria Celano is the one to approach and hence I have done a switch for my daughter who also really enjoys it. I would also like to add that I like the fact that the respect towards others and manners I teach my child at home are also being taught at her ballet lessons. Marina

Maria has exceptional teaching and is very passionate in ballet! After dancing for 14 years and having a break for 3 years, I'm quite rusty in technique but Maria makes me feel comfortable and extremely confident to relearn and make precise movement in ballet. I highly recommend Maria to everyone, such a lovely kind and understanding person, she is an inspiration to ballet.

Maria Celano is an amazing and highly skilled dance teacher for both children and adults. I highly recommend her if you are interested in serious training in classical ballet approach, as she specializes in superior technique training. She teaches all the proper french terminology, as well as correct positioning and movements, which is essential for establishing a solid foundation for beginners, and excellence for intermediate and advanced dancers.Her teaching attitude is at the same time professional and fun , which makes her classes enjoyable for everyone, big and small. She cares about her students, and is determined to see us improve, which is exactly what I was looking for. I began my adult ballett lessons in April 2023 and I have seen such a vast improvement in my technique and performance. I have been blessed by having a professional and dedicated teacher in Maria. Her professionalism and dedication to her students goes above and beyond anyone I have encountered. She gives her individual attention to all of us and makes us better than we are. She gives us hope, zeal, determination and helps us focus on the present moment and making us better than who we are. Maria is such an incredible ballet teacher: this is my 3 year old daughter’s first time doing ballet and not only did Maria make her feel warmly welcomed, but she absolutely LOVED the class. Maria is professional, incredibly talented and committed to teach ballet the right way, her passion for ballet shines through and it’s so refreshing to see a teacher that’s this passionate about her craft. 5 stars for Maria, in fact I also do Maria’s adult class which is excellent!
