So many great things to say about Off Root.. beautiful routes, lovely people, top tips and awesome community.

Jackie really knows her stuff. She’s given me a lot of confidence on my bike. I’m in one of her weekly biking groups and she knows so many different routes in the surrounding area, you’re never bored. The groups are alway friendly and it really doesn’t matter what level you are at, male/female you’ll always be welcome!

Jackie was the guide on my recent cycling trip (Wales end to end) and she was absolutely brilliant.As a 37yr old woman, with zero technique and very little experience on hills, I was struggling! Jackie gave me a number of tips, tricks and technical advice that vastly improved my riding, confidence and overall experience of the trip. Thanks so much Jackie ~ I hope to zoom down a hill with you at some point in the future

I made contact with Jackie after my physio advised that I try some cycling to help strengthen my core muscles as I had been suffering from a bad back for many years. Jackie was so kind from the off set, she encouraged me to come along and give it a try even though at the time I didn’t have a bike and borrowed one of hers! After a couple of 1-1 sessions, I have bought a bike and I am loving the group sessions led by Jackie, I am taking my time, under no pressure and growing in confidence, discovering beautiful new routes and meeting lovey people on the way. I can highly recommend Jackie, she knows her stuff, she includes everyone and really importantly she cares about what she does.

Brilliant MTB coaching by Jackie and her colleagues for kids, youth and adults! Warmly recommended for anyone wishing to get fit, get to know the local area and make new friends.

Love Off Root....always learn something, either about riding or a new route. Look forward to Mondays we often have a good laugh too. Definitely recommend for newbies and people that have been riding for years. It has improved my riding, fitness and understanding. Ready ready!

I first met Jackie when she took my children out for one-to-one sessions. She is so lovely and friendly and very quickly put them at ease. They absolutely loved the sessions and their progress was astounding. Jackie’s energy and enthusiasm is contagious and now the whole family is hooked doing regular weekly sessions. Jackie’s sessions are fun and relaxed. It doesn’t matter if you are a complete beginner or have been cycling for a while. There is always plenty of opportunity to chat and enjoy the beautiful scenery whilst growing in confidence on the bike and on different terrain. If you want a great work out in beautiful countryside with lovely company then Off Root comes very highly recommended.

I have had two recent experiences with Off Root, firstly a mtb coaching session with Jackie. It was really good to be coached on our mtb skills and we really felt like we really improved ! Jackie was great, full of enthusiasm and pushed us just out of our comfort zone to really change the way that we ride. Plus we recently had a 1/2 day guided ride with Chris south of the punchbowl. It was a great experience, 25 miles of brand new trails that we would never have found on our own. Chris was a brilliant guide, the route was a perfect XC ride for our group, even the mud after the recent downpours did not damped our fun! I cannot recommend Off Root enough (and I very rarely write reviews!)

I began riding with Jackie about a year ago - she has done wonders for my confidence and is such an encouraging and positive teacher! I am loving our weekly group rides too, a great bunch of people and a super way to find new and fabulous cycle routes in the area! Thank you Jackie!
