A quiet day out. It all seemed very quiet indeed. Might be worth checking tide times for your visit as this influences waders. Otherwise this is black headed gull central...with a cafe. Views are nice as are the art installations. Bird flu is limiting display of some kept species.

Great for exploring with kids. Even the twitchers were friendly offering us a look through their binoculars.

It was a lovely stroll between different viewing points and hides. We have seen a sparrowhawk and heard a kingfisher. My nonbiring partner enjoyed the walk too.

I go here because it's a short walk from the car park for my elderly mother, there is a shop full of glitzy stuff for her to wander around, and a cafe so she can sit to watch the birds , drink tea and eat buns. Perfect for that, also would be a great day out for the kids.

Haven't been here in years but my wife kindly bought me a year's membership so this is the start of a year long adventure.Amazing place. Well laid out and so much to see and do. Excellent food and great shop. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed spending a few hours walking the paths, there were some interesting birds. The visitor center was quite nice, I enjoyed a coffee and a brownie after the walk. I included just a couple of photos, they don't do the place justice.

Our 1st time here today(1st May 2022) Lovely walk around and got to see all the birds. Kids get a bird sheet to identify the birds(no seed due to flu but will be again).Viewing platforms to look out at the landscape and a play park, zipline and swamp.I would say we will be back again :)

Took our grandsons today, and they enjoyed the visit. Present Avian Flu restrictions mean that the resident birds are in netted enclosures to save them being infected by wild birds. This rather spoils the experience. Plenty of other things to see as both main hides look out over the shoreline. Forest playpark was a hit.
