I came to this shop on Wednesday 28/06/23 they have a great selection of books on LGBTQ+ and accessories.The 2 gentlemen that was working where welcoming and very helpful. So if you are in Manchester highly recommend to support this independent shop! When I’m next back in Manchester I’ll be definitely going back!

I don't usually write reviews but they are worth every praise! The selection is great, the staff are very knowledgeable and passionate about the offered books, went out of their way to help out even when it wasn't requested. The atmosphere is very welcoming and cosy and I definitely don't regret spending more than I planned to.

Absolutely amazing experience. Went in for a browse and a nosey, and the staff were so friendly..offered recommendations for graphic novels and their badges are amazing. Love that they're just in a fish bowl. Their level of detail is great. A very down to Earth and friendly LGBT+ place. Really want to go back and buy more.

This new shop is so wheelchair acsessible, they have proper lifts to the areas that also have steps. Staff are more than willing to assist any disabled customers.Very cute chill out/coffee shop area that serves both hot and cold drinks as well as cocktails.Every single queer book you could want you’ll find in this shop. So glad they’ve moved to a bigger location

A wonderful independent bookshop, they are super friendly and have a great book collection. They are also dog friendly and showered my dog with love and treats. I’d highly recommend visiting this book shop if you’re in Manchester.

QueerLit is my favourite place to go in Manchester!Run by the ever-helpful, lovely Matt, QueerLit is a sanctuary of acceptance and community. Matt, Molly, and the team have created such an inviting space and I can highly recommend the coffee and wine options. It is not just a cafe/bar: it's a community hub, hosting a wide range of events. I've been to a horror movie night showing and a book club hosted there and, unsurprisingly, had a wonderful time at both.If you seek a haven of positivity, lovely staff, great drinks, and outstanding literature, QueerLit is a true treasure. Long live QueerLit!!

The new location is amazing! A lovely selection of tea and pastries, with plenty of seating to enjoy them in, get some work done in a calm and quiet co-working space, or read a new queer book! Key points for the wheelchair accessibility with lifts to the book section, downstairs, wheelchair accessibility toilet and entrance. The lifts aren't fast, but they are easy to use and staff are friendly and happy to help.

What a wonderful find!! We were exploring and stumbled into Queer Lit. Great books, great pins. Luca’s a gem and was everso helpful to point us in the direct of some good places too. I’m can’t wait for the super exciting upcoming plans and will be sure to be back!
