2021First visit for a family birthday lunch, lunch menu somewhat limited but very enjoyableUpdate July 2023Our firth visit and a very enjoyable evening with friends, the menu choice was great and the food was fantastic, forgot to take a photo of the Sticky Toffee Pudding which I have to say was one of th best I have ever had.

Huge thumbs up from us, everything was super tasty, beautifully presented and well portioned. A lovely little restaurant with great food, drinks and service. Just needed a slice of bread to mop up that amazing sauce!

Had a really lovely night here, the food was amazing and so was the staff. The Jack Daniels sticky toffee pudding was by far the best highly recommended. Thanks for a great night guys :)

Oh wow, this place is a MUST visit! My girlfriend and I stopped by, after this place was recommended by a local, and we were blown away by the warm hospitality of Alina and her top-notch family-run business. All of the food we tried food was world class, and the Romanian wines were stellar! We highly recommend the fish & pea+ asparagus, the beef steak, as well as the carrot cake. If we stayed here a few more days, we would have come back every day for sure to eat. Thank you for making us our dining experience so memorable, and we wish you all the very best!- Reza

The Estuary Bistro
We enjoyed a lovely meal, accompanied with great service. We had sourdough bread with humus, mains were mushroom tagliatelle and chicken. Followed by mango cheesecake and raspberry sorbet. On the whole it was reasonably priced and we would definitely eat there again. I only marked it down one star due to the pasta dish having a bit too much truffle oil making it too rich for my liking.

We came to the estuary bistro on the last night of our honeymoon, as we wanted somewhere special to finish our week in the Lake District. The estuary bistro came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint! We were greeted by very friendly and attentive staff who made us feel very welcome on entering. We were seated promptly and given information regarding the specials available that day. The waiting staff had noticed that our table was slightly wobbly and came and sorted it out swiftly without us saying anything which was a nice touch. We had ordered drinks and food which were all delivered quickly, the food was nicely presented and tasted fantastic! (Pork belly is a must!) again the waiting staff were very helpful and friendly throughout the evening tending to every need with a smile. I would highly recommend coming to the estuary bistro as you’ll definitely find it a pleasurable experience

What a fantastic restaurant and so happy that found and experienced this little gem. Excellent service from the minute we walked in and the food was superb.I can't recommend this place enough.
