I had the most amazing time at Gather! Phoebe was fantastic – patient, skilled, and so passionate about glass blowing. It was great to see everything they are doing at Gather. The entire experience was incredibly informative and engaging. Working with hot glass was both thrilling and educational; I had the opportunity to craft a couple of unique pieces and gained valuable insights into the intricate glass blowing process.What stood out for me was how well everything was explained. Phoebe took the time to break down each step, making the art of glass blowing accessible to beginners like me! The studio itself was lovely, and easily accessible via public transport. I left feeling inspired with newfound knowledge and a real sense of accomplishment. A highly recommended experience for anyone interested in the art of glass blowing. Thank you so much Phoebe!

I took part in a brilliant glassblowing workshop at Gather. I was new to glassmaking, and the process is totally mesmerising to take part in: to observe the glass changing as it heats and cools, glowing orange and taking on different variations of elastic gloopiness, is something that can only be experienced in real life to be believed. It's so satisfying to now own and use a unique piece of glassware that I made myself from a blob of molten glass (with Phoebe's clear and careful guidance). Thank you!

I was given the Blow Your Own Bauble course as a gift. I’d never blown glass before but Phoebe made me feel really comfortable and explained everything incredibly well. I had a great day in the studio which is close to Abbey Wood station. I can’t wait to receive my bauble and will definitely book the 1 day Introduction To Glassblowing course.

I did the blow your own bauble session with my 6 and 8 year old boys and we totally loved it. The alchemy of seeing the 1000 degree molten glass form into beautiful decorations was so exciting for all of us. Phoebe the glassmaker was super friendly and helpful. Already lots of chat about hanging the baubles up - in October....

Phoebe's glass blowing workshop was an absolute delight! I crafted a beautiful bauble and was impressed by Phoebe's friendly demeanor and clear instructions. The spacious and well-equipped studio provided a great atmosphere for learning. I had so much fun that I'm eager to return for more workshops. Highly recommended!

I met Phoebe through work and was excited to try her class. As a potter I thought I’ld have a natural talent! BUT Phoebe slowly took me through the process - as I was clueless and useless! But now having had this class I feel excited to get down to her studio and try again! She is an excellent teacher, even with useless, over confident people like me. It was hot and exciting, defiantly deserved a sit down in her beautiful creative space afterwards!
