Veincentre

I was seen initially in the NHS for consultation and diagnostics, after which I decided to transfer to the Veincentre for treatment, enabling much more timely procedures with the same consultant, Mr Sharath Paravastu. The transfer was facilitated seamlessly by the administration team.The communication from the administration team and care given by Mr Paravastu and the clinical team is excellent.The whole team are very friendly and welcoming.I required EVLA treatment and foam sclerotherapy to both legs at the initial appointment and further foam sclerotherapy at the follow up appointment, both treatments administered with only minor discomfort.The aching, dragging and heavy feeling within both legs disappeared after the first treatment and the cosmetic improvements are becoming more apparent with time, although this takes a little longer, as explained in the very detailed information pack given prior to treatment.Very highly recommended!

I can't praise the Veincentre enough. From the moment I stepped into the clinic the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I had my consultation with Dr Deepak Vishwanath who was very informative on what to expect from my Foam Sclerotherapy treatment. I was not pressured into signing up on the day of my consultation (but I did) and on the day of my treatment Dr Deepak Vishwanath was very friendly as was the nurse (sorry don't remember her name) and both put me at ease. I returned after four weeks to have my veins checked and had more Foam Sclerotherapy to address any veins which needed a second application and yet again very friendly. A different nurse this time but still equally as friendly (sorry can't remember her name either). My veins have definitely reduced in size even gone but have been told that it can take a little while for them all to go completely but so far I am pleased with the results. Thank you

The whole experience was gold standard. Staff were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Every step of the way I was kept informed about what to expect. And the coffee was first class too.

I have just completed treatment (for the moment) at The Veincentre Gloucester clinic with Mr Paravastu. I underwent initial consultation,where the treatments were fully explained, and I was then given time to decide if I wanted to proceed.I had EVLA to one leg, which was slightly uncomfortable, but very bearable, and expertly undertaken and the staff were extremely supportive throughout.On my follow-up visit, I had foam and sclerotherapy to various veins, and again all the staff were very professional and Natasha, the nurse kept me chatting, to take my mind off it all...I had been overcharged on my previous visit, and this was brought to my attention by the receptionist, and I was informed that a refund was on its way, I had not been sure to be fair I thought that 'I' had made a mistake in my calculations.... ( extremely honest of the company).I would thoroughly recommend the Vein Centre on all levels...

I thoroughly recommend the Veincentre in Gloucester. Dr Vishnawath and the nurses who treated me were highly professional but also supportive and friendly. They always explained the procedures and inspired absolute confidence. The laser sclerotherapy and chemical foam treatment were effective and, under local anaesthetic, the procedures were only mildly uncomfortable. As well as allowing me to feel confident in shorts again, I had also suffered from almost nightly cramps in my calf muscles before the treatment, but since then I rarely suffer from them. Luke and the administrative staff were also friendly and efficient from start to finish.

I have attended this clinic several times. At all times all the staff have been extremely polite and caring. All rooms are light and airy. You are met and greeted and offered either tea or coffee on arrival and made feel at home. Your Consultant will come out and meet you and explain thoroughly all the procedures. The Nurses are unfailingly polite and courteous. All in all I thoroughly recommend this Clinic. You will be made feel very welcome.

Superb care and treatment.Dr Deepak Vishwanath was my clinician and the care I recieved from him, the nursing team and Luke on reception in Gloucester were faultless.From initial consultation through EVLA treatment and finally the sclerotherapy, I was included in all decisions and any concerns I had were fully addressed. I had my legs done in January, one very large varicose vein up one leg and a faulty vein in the other but no visible signs yet. All treatment with Dr Deepak Vishwanath. No hard sell at all, very informative and caring staff. The procedure was a little uncomfortable at most and one leg ( the one with no visible vein was quite sore for a few weeks). I've left it a while to post to see real outcome. Very happy with the result, back in shorts for the summer!

The medical expertise, customer care and entire service were all excellent. All interactions were highly professional and I felt very well looked after, with the warm welcomes on arrival putting me at my ease. The treatment exceeded my expectations with each stage being explained carefully and there was time to ask all the questions I wanted to. Knowing in advance that I would have the same consultant for the initial consultation and throughout the treatment helped me to decide on the Veincentre.

From my very first visit for the scan at the Veincentre Gloucester, could not have been made to feel more relaxed. Luke at reception was welcoming and professional. Dr Deepak Vishwanath filled me full of confidence for the recommended treatment of EVL & follow up Foam Sclerotherapy. The whole team & nursing staff were brilliant & so are the results. I cannot recommend the service enough.
