I have bought six face masks from Sewansome. Each one is perfectly made, sturdy and very pretty. They are easily able to withstand constant use and the recommended very hot handwashing. The service here is great, as well. I highly recommend this place.

Love, love, LOVE the sewing workshops! I've done two so far and hoping to do a few more. Magda is an excellent teacher! And, since these workshops I have found myself getting my own machine out to give 'something' a try - even if I don't have a pattern for it. Thank you so much for helping to re-kindle my enthusiasm for all things sewing!!! xXx

Did the beginners sew class and it was great really helped me to gain confidence with my machine and with the little knowledge I had of sewing. Having someone explain thing in front of you really helps to understand why you do the things you are shown and to ask the question you maybe struggling with. Would recently recommend this class to anyone that is starting out or needed a refresh .

Magda made some beautiful curtains for our son's nursery in a lovely animal fabric she found for us that matches the rooms theme. The curtains are the perfect size with not a stitch out of place, and best of all being quality black-out curtains he stays asleep now until 7am, even with the summer morning sun shining directly into his room. Bliss... Thank you Magda!

I attended a beginners sewing class yesterday with Magda, which was amazing! She is a brilliant teacher, who has created a sewing Mecca in Plymouth! Patient, kind and funny! I left optimistic that I could create something out of fabric and thread! Already planning to book in again with Madga later this year as I continue my sewing journey!

I have been using Magda's service for several years, and can confirm she is a very, VERY talented seamstress. Once Magda has altered your garment it will look just as it did when you purchased it but will fit you. Magda does not clumsily cut the fabric off and sew, she ensures the quality finish is just the same as the original finish. You would never know the garment had been altered. I would never ever use anyone else. If you want a 5* seamstress look no further.
