Brick Lane Bagel Co (Upminster)

Normally enjoy going to this place but was a bit appalled by the service today. Ordered a bagel only to find one of the main ingredients was missing. When I went back to ask about it I was told they didn't have that item in stock and they added extra stuff to compensate (lie). Was offered a choice to add extra items in or a different bagel neither of which were appealing at the time.Feedback - let the customer know ahead of making half the ordered bagel that items are not in stock and if they would like to continue. Don't lie and say you have added things in when you haven't.

Luke warm hot salt beef in a bagel that has seen better days. An embarrassment to a proper Brick Lane Bagel. Lady behind counter was overwhelmed with 2 orders.

I think my partner has reviewed this but was so bad that I had to review it myself.We got 2 bagels takeaway. The bread, you can’t even call it a bagel as it has no hole in it, is at least 3 days out of date. I’ve submitted a picture of this thing as I am quite disappointed as in all the other pictures looks delicious. I don’t know weather they didn’t like him or his skin colour. The sandwich was cold and hard as cement that nearly broke my teeth. I’m not even talking about the filling which was some sort of sour beef salami, not actually beef and acidic salmon. What a waste of £14. You don’t even come close to east London brick laneAlso don’t be fooled by the photos, they are taken from the east London shop or the internet

Really bad. Bread was dry, meat was soggy, service was cold.

Looking forward to this opening but to be quite honest a massive disappointment.... dry shop bought bagels with a few scraps of Salt beef for £6.50Honestly guys wake up you've only been open a week!Supposed to be Brick Lane bagels" massive letdown!If you want the real thing go into town..."

Lovely salt beef bagel. We usually drive up to Brick Lane, but these are authentic. Big slices of salt beef, not the pre packed stuff.Staff were friendly and welcoming. I’ll be going there again.

Went in to get my usual bagels today. Had the pleasure of meeting Lucy, what a wonderful lady. Brilliant customer service and made my purchase a very pleasurable experience. Keep up the good work ladies. Special mention to Nancy, Claudie, and Lynn.

First time visit. Had a excellent pastrami bagel and lovely friendly service. Looking forward to trying the rest of their menu. Delighted they have come to the area.
