The Outpost

I’ve been to The Outpost upwards of 40 times and plan to keep on going.They have an amazing section of the store as designated gaming areas with hundreds of pieces of well painted scenery to chose from, as well as recently adding a mini cafe inside where you can buy drinks and snacks.The store itself is also great, with big discounts and normally a good stock of models. One of the most varied selections of paints I’ve ever seen as well.I would recommend anyone and everyone to visit The Outpost.

Ordered Sunday so I had items in time for the weekend coming up, just shipped item now (Friday) after I checked all items were in stock to ship with the “live tracker” when ordering. I had also ordered last month and waited 14 days with no update so I cancelled and then re-ordered once the items were in stock ….definitely be the last time I order from here

Purchased a large paint set online over the holiday period. Item arrived (in Ireland) very well packaged and the delivery time was surprisingly quick for this time of year. Great prices. Easy to recommend. Will be purchasing from here in the future.

I had a similar experience to some of the other reviewers below. I placed an order online for 20+ items costing over 100 pounds that appeared to be in stock but it wasn't until 7 days later I got an email to say only one item worth 3 pounds was not in stock. Even though I am pretty certain that the website said it was in stock when I placed the order! I find it poor customer service that this wasn't communicated upfront, or that they couldn't have just sent the rest of my order while they waited for stock to arrive. Was expecting the order in time for this weekend but have no idea when it will even be dispatched now, as I have been given no indication when they expect to have that item in stock. Will wait to see if or how this is handled and update my review accordingly.Update: my issue was handled politely and promptly, and they rushed out my order minus the one out of stock item. I received the package less than 48hrs after posting this review. I think that's fair enough, hopefully they improve the experience/clarity for back ordered products in future

Then look no further than The Outpost!Located in the Kelham Island area of Sheffield city centre, The Outpost is a surprisingly large space for wargaming and has a decent shop too! The staff are friendly and helpful, taking time to answer questions about products and make suggestions where necessary.The only downside to this location is the tricky car parking situation, but it’s within easy walking distance so not too bad.

Bought a box set to be delivered. Order was left outside my house against delivery instructions and the delivery companies own policy. The outpost take over a week to reply to an email asking for help or an update. This has been going on for weeks now. I am out £120 and no box set with no help or contact from this company. I would rather pay higher prices at other places in future after how poor the service has been.

Beautiful model shop. Friendly employees and the gaming space looks great. I've been in and the layout is great and the click and collect is also superb. Not yet had a delivery. Easily the best shop for hobbyists in Sheffield, if not England!
