I took my car in for an MOT in August 2018. I was informed by the mechanic that the car had failed the MOT because the car's registration plate lamp did not work. In order to rectify this problem would require a replacement registration plate lamp unit. The price to fix was quoted at £150. I was told by the mechanic that this was the only option and that a replacement bulb would not work because the unit inside had melted.I removed the car from the garage and replaced the bulb in the registration plate lamp myself which fixed the problem. The bulb cost me £5. The unit did not need replacing despite what the mechanic said.I returned to the garage whereby they retested my car for free and issued an MOT certificate.

Booked car in for a safety recall on Thursday 17th August. On arrival car had been booked in for the 17th September ( a Sunday )Said there had been an error, they were up to their eyes in work so couldn't do anything to rectify this error until well into September

Wow fantastic friendly service nothing too much trouble.our car broke down on way to sidmouth thought it was fixed but no! Had to be towed from dukes then on to repair for journey home . Thank you

Recently had an electronics problem with Ford Fiesta. Engineer and staff went to a lot of trouble, resolving what proved to be a complex issue. V knowledgeable engineer and v helpful staff. Excellent all-round garage.

Took my 2012 VW car here for MOT and service - turned out it also needed a water pump and cam belt - fair enough, but took 3 days ( and £700+ ) but when I eventually got it back I had lots of issues with tailgate rear camera wiper etc. Took it back only to be told it needed a part (electronic tailgate switch) - eventually got fitted a WEEK later and was charged ANOTHER £80+. NEVER AGAIN!!

The garage did a brilliant job at identifying a really difficult electrical fault and completed the work for a third of the price that the main dealer wanted. Excellent service.

Quoted £300 to replace oil filter housing on a focus ST. Trusted them being a ford specialist. Ended up with a bill of nearly £550 after phone calls saying “you need to replace this while you’re here, you need to replace that, you need fresh oil etc.” Non of which was in original quote, and after a little reading seems obvious with the nature of the job. Will never return.
