Mandarin Stone | Tile Showroom Primrose Hill

Have just moved to the area with my partner and we were told about this lovely show room. Had Harriett help us pick new tiles for our bathroom, made the process quick and easy to follow. Highly recommend.

Sadly I wanted to buy tiles and adhesive and I got to primrose store 12 mins before closing knowing exactly what I want and just wanted to pay . Girl said can I come back tomorrow or do on phone tomorrow . I am client based and work Saturdays as well and told her I can't which I can't as I'm a professional trainer with client commitments . So that was it no tiles ! I'm shocked ! I rushed back from work today to make the store and I am so disappointed . Maybe top tiles after all is better option as better service ! Very sad my local store can't even process a sale if it's 12 min from closing - gals o don't treat my clients this way .

Take heed of the bad reviews! Poor customer service throughout with damaged tiles.Mandarin stone staff checked and loaded up my tiles. 45 mins later on arriving to my home I noticed damage to them. This seems a repeat issue with poor quality products (from past reviews).They have since washed their hands of any responsibility as every single tile should have 'been inspected' (despite their own staff member doing said inspection). As most people end up ordering hundreds of tiles i don't know how in practice anyone can do this.Avoid.

What a joyous experience. Chanel was incredible at helping me chose the perfect tiles for my renovation for my bathrooms and utility room and I absolutely love them. I would have never have chosen so well alone, so thank you to her and the team at Mandarin Stone

Fabulous products. Amazing customer service. Someone always greets you when you walk in at this location and in Bath. Employees are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Nora helped us today and she knew the products and happily helped us look at everything.

Updated August 2023: Still lovely tiles, now samples easily available. Super friendly and knowledgable staff at this location, and a very good range considering its location and size. 3 years ago: Lovely tiles...but delivery expensive for samples and expensive and poor delivery service for main order. Makes using them tricky

Lovely showrooms both in Cambridge and in Primrose Hill. Staff were excellent and helpful and the quality of the tiles is very good. It is a shame though that the company has let itself down over one faulty tile, which we asked to be replaced. We were told that we should have spotted it within 48 hours of delivery! Well, I can't see how this works in a building site or why the company won't take back and replace one tile which is obviously faulty. Surely, Mandarin Stone you make enough to keep your customer happy by being fair to them!This is an updated review following the company's response to the first review. Im pleased to say that Mandarin Stone looked into the complaint and responded by reimbursing us for the faulty tile. Many thanks, Mandarin Stone!

Fantastic service, offered great advice on which tiles to go for. Fast and simple delivery.

Avoid Mandarin Stone! They partly delivered the wrong tiles as the tiles we ordered were based on a sample that was wrongly labelled. The only thing they were able to offer was to exchange the tiles the following week or we would have to accept the wrong tiles. As our tiler was fully booked the following week, we had no other option but to accept the wrong tiles but no gesture of goodwill was even offered at all for the inconvenience caused and the fact we are now having to tile a bathroom with tiles we never wanted in the first place!! simply disappointing!

Update review:After I posted the previous review (below) someone from their team contacted me and booked a 30 minutes appointment. It felt a bit rushed, and there was some miscommunication (I asked if a tile was glazed and they answered that it was not, but it was - I think they might have understood gloss). But we managed to find some nice kitchen tiles, one that both me and my partner agreed on :D we ordered it online and they arrived on the correct date (still need to check them and install).In the end, they have some nice tiles and they are easy to order online. Would be nice if they figured out a showroom booking system or replied to emails more frequently.Previous review:Impossible to get any service from this shop.I read on their page that they are an appointment only shop, so I called to book an appointment. On the phone, instead of just booking for me they asked that I send an email. I did send one email and a follow up a week ago, but so far they have been ignored. I was around the area so went to the shop and could see they have some decent options, too bad I will only ever be able to see them from the outside.Inside the shop we could see several salespeople and zero customers. Still, for some reason, they could not book an appointment for us for some other time.
