Without your help we all would be forced to drive into Colchester. THANK YOU for making us INDEPENDENT!

Mersea Library staff were helpful and friendly with lots of local leaflets for our holiday and have a fabulous range of items to borrow - yes, lots of books but many other formats to borrow too! We loved all the jigsaws options!! Many free national / international newspapers and magazines available to download with our new Essex Libraries Card and this will be used a lot both now and when we return to our home...:)It's easy to join Essex Libraries with address ID, even if you're not from Essex and they have plenty of PCs / fast Wifi / FREE e-books.Cheap printing & photocopying too, if you need it. This library will accept cash, or card payments if you have a valid library membership.And are your kids doing the 2022 national libraries summer reading challenge? Mersea Island Library is part of this too!!!Thank you to the Mersea Island Library Staff for making us all feel so welcome!! We will be back many times during these summer holidays...
