Mr Ali Alhamdani - Bariatric Surgery & Weight Loss Clinic

I met this amazing gentleman in April this year. From the moment I walked into his office I knew I had made the right choice of surgeon.He immediately put me at ease and over the last three months has been a constant source of knowledge, reassurance and kindness.Everything that he said he would do he did, even calling me today on a Sunday to check I was ok.This procedure was something that took me a long time to decide and act upon and the reason I chose Mr Alhamdani is that he was the only surgeon that agreed to see me face to face. Call me old fashioned but I needed to meet the man who I was going to trust to operate on me.I cannot thank Mr Alhamdani and his team enough for all that they have done.

From the initial enquiry to post op, I cannot fault the service and care that I have received from Mr Ali Alhamdani and his team. Every step of the way was explained clearly and Mr Alhamdani took the time to answer any questions or concerns with kindness and patience. His secretary Nadia, was always on hand at the end of the phone to help too. If you are considering any form of bariatric surgery, I would highly recommend Mr Alhamdani. I am 4 weeks post op and have no regrets.

I would certainly without a doubt recommend Dr Alhamdani if you’re looking to have WLS. He is such a caring, knowledgeable and attentive doctor and certainly an expert in his field of work! I started thinking of having WLS last year. I did extensive research about it and whilst doing so, came across various clinics across the UK that do it. I chose to book a consultation with Dr Alhamdani especially due to the positive reviews I’d read. I had my initial consultation in May this year which was very thorough. Dr Alhamdani provided me with all the information I needed including the various bariatric procedures and also what he felt was most suitable for me based on information I had provided. He also clearly explained the possible risks and/complications etc. He advised me to take my time to think through what we had discussed and make a decision in my own time. I liked the fact that I did not feel pressured or rushed into making a decision. Over the next couple of months I had other consultations with different clinics; however, in the end, I chose to go with Dr Alhamdani. There was just something about him that gave me the reassurance and confidence I needed to go through the process under his care. He helped me to feel calm, relax and just trust the process. I finally had my Gastric Sleeve surgery in October and I’m now coming up to 6 weeks post op! I must say, I feel really amazing!!!! The whole process from start through to recovery has been smooth and it’s unbelievable when you start to see the results happen!! Whilst at the hospital, Dr Alhamdani came to see me before surgery, the evening of the surgery and the next morning before discharge. Following discharge, Dr Alhamdani checked in with me for the first couple of days and would provide useful advice and tips to aid my recovery, which I found to be extremely helpful especially that first week post-op. He also provided a mobile number I could call or text and advised I could contact him at any time, which offered me so much reassurance. All I can say is that I will forever be grateful to Dr Alhamdani for offering me the opportunity to change my life for the best through this process, by giving me the tool I needed to be able to achieve that. I am also so glad for trusting my gut instinct and opting to go with his team. I also want to thank his Secretary Nadia, who was so supportive, kind, patient and really helpful throughout this process! I can’t imagine the number of times I called her especially pre-surgery with all sorts of questions, bless her. She always made the time and was ever so sweet! I also wish to thank the nursing staff at the London Clinic especially Nuria, Alena & Mary for their amazing 5 star service! And also not to forget Dr Hassan the anaesthetist who was so lovely as well! And ofcourse my Dietitian, Cleverly! She is the absolute best and couldn’t have asked for a better Dietitian during this process. Basically, the entire team was brilliant!

I am very happy with the entire The London Clinic medical team, I was in the best hands and Dr Alhamdani is an excellent professional who at all times made me feel safe and in good hands.

Dr Alhamdani is the kindest and loveliest Surgeon you'll meet. Extremely thorough and clearly an expert in his field, he made me feel very confident immediately during the initial consultation for my procedure. No question left unanswered I felt very happy about proceeding to book my procedure with him. His team (Nadia, thank you!) is very efficient and organised ensuring you are told everything at the right time and in plenty of time before the procedure. Pre-op assessment also extremely thorough. Day of the operation Dr Alhamdani visited myself and my parents in my ward room (which was 5* too) to discuss the procedure and if I had any more concerns. I felt reassured seeing such his friendly but confident face. Additionally I got to meet my Anesthetist which I felt was a really nice touch because I was then more comfortable later on when it was time to go under. After 0 complications and an overnight stay (very attentive nurses available whenever needed, all extremely accommodating and polite), Dr Alhamdani visited in the morning before discharge which was wonderful to see and thank him, again more words of encouragement and positivity flowed from him. Head nurse went over my medications and what needs to be administered when, felt very confident with the information received. I am now 6 days post op and am pretty much feeling back to normal, obviously there are 6 more weeks for total normalcy but I feel fine and happy in myself to continue normal life.Thank you Dr Alhamdani and team, my procedure was life changing and I will be eternally grateful.

The first thing that positively impressed me about Mr Alhamdani is his ability of putting in layman's terms a series of complex and potentially frightful procedures while at the same time explaining in details all the pros and cons, the consequence on the short and long term and the efforts the patient will have to do in order to get healthy and lasting results. Not only he made it possible for me to understand, but I never had the impression he wanted to push me or sell me a product, which in such a delicate field, is way more trustworthy than the miracle cure" approach I found in many other alleged professionals in this field.Once I've decided to have the surgery

He was incredibly kind, patient and attentive throughout the entire process, giving me the confidence and trust I needed to have the procedure I always dreamed of. All of the nurses and staff at The London Clinic took the best possible care of me. Having a life changing surgery can be overwhelming, but I can honestly say I felt like I was in the best possible hands throughout. Thank you to Dr Alhamdani and his entire team. Incredible doctor. A master in his field with the added bonus of having a wonderful bedside manner. He is so kind and caring and makes his patients feel like a priority. Mr Alhamdani is passionate about what he does and he does it well. He has literally transformed my life for the better and for this I will always be grateful.

I met Dr. Ali and he automatically gave me the peace of mind I needed to make a decision, in the very 1st consultation I decided that he was the one. He took the time to explain everything, pros and cons, how to success and maintain the weight loss, he gave me very clear information and explained the expectation about the gastric sleeve.He gave me clear instructions that I’m following and today on my 3rd day post op, I haven’t had any problem dealing with pain, I’m not feeling sick, I’m managing to walk and drink my water and soups. So I’m just hoping to see the results in the following weeks/months!
