I would like to leave a review to say what a lovely cottage this is. We stayed over NewYear, myself, husband and two kids. It's a pretty little cottage, very cosy and tastefully decorated. Whilst I would agree the kitchen and bathroom need updating, they were very clean and had everything you needed although there are plans to upgrade them in the near future ( found this out from one of my chats with Dai, the owner, a proper character! ) The beds are so comfy and with a tv in the main bedroom had to prise myself out in the mornings. The kids were more than happy with the large tv downstairs, the fact the owners provide sky and WiFi is a massive plus for us, happy kids = happy parents! The owners live next door and this is one of three properties they rent out. A lovely couple and very helpful with tips and ideas where to go with the kids and where to eat out.I would be more than happy to stay here again.

We have stayed here many times and it's a lovely traditional, warm homely cottage with a great sized dog safe garden. The owners live next door and are always happy to help or answer any questions you may have. I would recommend this cottage and village anyone who is after a simple, relaxing holiday with amazing scenery in a cosy cottage.

I loved staying at Middle Cottage we felt completely relaxed and comfortable as soon as we arrived, it is a cosy and well equipped cottage with everything you should need. On our first evening one of the owners contacted us via the telephone in the cottage to check if all was okay and if we had everything we needed for our stay I was told not to hesitate to contact them should we need or require anything else during our stay, which was not necessary, I would agree the kitchen/bathroom would benefit from updating however everything was clean and functional and perfectly acceptable, the log burner was fantastic for cosy evenings in with ample supply of logs at no extra charge, the owners were happy to accept our dogs staying in the cottage and last minute arrangements were made to accommodate our daughter to stay for a few nights it is a great base in an absolutely stunning location, we made the most of the beautiful surroundings and areas loving the beaches, the local village shop sells wonderful homemade bakes and the local pub serves good food and has a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Middle Cottage and will not hesitate to arrange a return stay should we wish to return to this area.

A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage is nicely equipped with a big wood burner, 2 living rooms and bedrooms and a great garden. Lovely helpful owners too. The wonderful Whiteford National Nature reserve with miles of beach, sand dunes and salt marshes is a short walk away. Great walks up on the hills behind the cottage where there is a well preserved Iron Age hill fort. You can walk all the way to Rhossili and the Worms Head and along the coast path for miles. The village has an excellent community shop with a cafe and lots of local food. At Cwm Ivy, 500m on the way to the beach there is another nice cafe with crafts and a great view across the marsh and estuary. The Britannia Inn 500m in the other direction serves great food and beer. The very good King Arthur Hotel/Inn is a 15 min drive to the southIt was the only reason we used the car during our stay. The village has a good bus service that terminates outside the cottage, so you can get there easily by bus and train. We will definitely be returning.

My husband and I and our dogs stayed here for two weeks Jul/Aug 2021. We have stayed twice before in the smaller cottage, Heather cottage and opted for this one this time for more space. We absolutely loved the stay and can’t recommend it highly enough. The owners, Heather and Dai are really lovely people and very genuine. They are always available if required. The cottage is lovely and the new bathroom is beautiful with an excellent shower and ‘his and hers’ sinks. The garden is great for al fresco dining and enjoying the sun we had.We love to walk and there’s ample walking opportunities from the door step, beaches are amazing and extremely dog friendly. The local pub is lovely too and easily walkable and there are other pubs not too far away offering excellent food and drink also.We cannot recommend the cottage enough and will definitely be back for a stay. Many thanks to Heather and Dai

High expectations of this cottage, but shocked at the condition of the kitchen and bathroom. They clearly need a total upgrade. Cannot comprehend how the owners think they are acceptable for people coming to stay self catering. The bathroom facility's were a disgrace, I certainly would not recommend this cottage to anyone I knew. Happy to provide photo evidence of my review.

Just spent a weekend in this lovely, cosy cottage. A real home from home. We have already booked to go back. Such a relaxing place to stay and perfectly located to explore the Gower. Plenty of information available to advise guests the best places to go and the many local pubs. The owners were very happy to provide help and advice. The dogs loved it too.
