Sandown Beach Hire Isle of Wight

If you are looking for something to do, whether solo or a group, Sandown bicycle hire will kit you out with everything you need to explore of the island on two wheels.The rates are very reasonable and advice given on routs and places. Extremely friendly and helpful. And really nice and well maintained bikes too.There's also a volley ball court and beach equipment to buy or hire. Excellent!

Sandown Bike and Beach Hire is just perfect, the owner is incredibly helpful and has all the equipment (and more!) that you could possibly need to make your Isle of Wight trip a memorable action packed or relaxing experience!

I needed a replacement inner tube on Sunday - quick phone call and i popped round - all sorted. Lots of bikes for hire - kids and adults. Very knowledgable about the cycle trails on the island, of which there are many - if you fancy a family day out cycling the old disused railway lines look no further

Location: The location of beach is PO36 8AT, which take you just the Cafe near the Beach. On Opposite side you can also see Childrens rides / park.Parking: Use the Post Code above to locate the Council Parking. The parking is cheap. For 2 hours I paid around £3. There are plenty of parking on site.Cafe: The cafe is next to beach and serves hot drinks. The Staff is really good, and you can use toilet facilities (only if you using Cafe)Beach: The beach is really nice, you can swim (weather permitted) and relax near the beach. Walk along the beach and there are many sites perfect for Photography.

Friendly little beach hut hire shop, renting out kayaks, deckchairs and bicycles. The bikes were fine - you wouldn't want to do the Tour de France on one, but completely suitable for the purpose (a family bike ride) and decent value. Helmets were available too. It's worth working out your route in advance if you want to cycle further than up and down the sea front to Shanklin. There's great food at the Beach Shack opposite and the beach at Sandown is lovely too.

Great service, bikes in very good condition (he provide us with helmet and bike bag). Bruce was very helpful given us very good advice about routes and information about the island ( what places to go , where to eat food...) :-)

Hired two bikes for the bank holiday, the guys here are so lovely, go above and beyond to make sure you’re set for a good trip. Good hybrids made for a comfortable ride around the island with no issue and always on hand if you have any issues. 10/10 would recommend to a friend

It is Sunday and this shop opens. The owner is helpful, and gave us a cycling map. We rented whole day and returned bicycles early, he returned money to us as half day rent. This shop is on the beach, we rented in the morning, took breakfast in the opposite shop then cycled in the path just on the beach with children.
