ME1 Sauna and Steam

I have been politely asked to review this sauna, I would say it is one of the best I have been to and I have been to many around London and Brighton, including Sailors in Limehouse, Locker Rooms in Kennington, and the Boiler Room in Hove. It is clean, friendly by both staff and other visitors, open and helpful. Since coming here several months ago, I have been here regularly despite living more than two hours each way by train.As was mentioned by another reviewer, it has a very social atmosphere especially in the lounges, where the character more akin to guys chatting in a pub then a gay sauna. However, don't let you put this off, it is very relaxed, friendly and open to anyone.

Only the second time visiting ME1 this week and already looking forward to going back! Not one negative to this place, it caters for absolutely everyone!! On both visits myself and a friend were greeted by Mark and Ron, both of which are two of the friendliest guys I've ever met, extremely welcoming, nothing is too much to ask and a full tour was given on our first arrival including Information on the specific events and on which days these are. The facilities are impeccable, kept to the highest standards of cleanliness which is refreshing to see. The free tea, coffee and water is a great touch also. I highly recommend this place to anyone, from all walks of life even to those who may have to drive a little bit further than you'd usually like to, you won't be disappointed!!! Thank you to the owners and all staff for making ME1 the success it is. See you all again ASAP!

I really like Me1 in Rochester, it's clean , good value, has friendly management, it attracts a nice clientele from across the south east.There's no attitude unlike many other establishments , everyone feels welcome.If you drive to it there's free public on road parking in Doust way from 11.30 am or a council run car park which is reasonably priced, or Rochester railway station is around 13 minutes walk away .Furry Friday and Wednesday Naked days are good fun too , it's all on their website, something different most days , that adds to the fun !

Every time I visit, these guys have improved something or added a something new. The place is looking amazing and is definitely the friendliest sauna around.Facilities always immaculate and staff friendly as always. Nice big sauna and steam room downstairs and great, comfortable play areas upstairs. The new cabins are great.The free hot drinks is a nice touch that other places are no longer offering. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys.Really nice crowd of regulars who go along, creates a nice and welcoming atmosphere.Never any complaints from me. Thank you ME1!

As a younger guy using saunas, this is a great place to visit to be able to blow off some steam, I mainly use it for the sauna but the play rooms and other areas are a great benefit when I need a break from the sauna!Crowd is generally older 40/50+ but that doesn't really matter, you only do what you want to do as noone is pushy atall, probably more timid than other places.Would recommend for anyone looking to relax and/or have some fun x

First time visiting yesterday, was good fun! I’d say cleanest by far from all venues I’ve been too. Facilities were 10/10. The clientele may not be for everyone but I enjoyed myself.I liked the small touches such as glasses holder near the jacuzzi. You can tell it’s well managed.Will be back again soon
