Fabulous addition to Sidmouth's sea front with great views. Just in front of Dukes seaside inn. Brilliant coffee, sun kissed seating area. They're promising ice cream sandwiches for the season. An ideal spot for your first coffee of the day.

Kapes is the ultimate coffee kiosk at Sidmouth seafront, serving up incredible coffee, delicious ice creams, and refreshing sorbets. With a stunning sea view and plenty of tasty vegan options, it's a must-visit spot that combines great food and drinks with a beautiful setting. A must visit!!!

Best coffee in Sidmouth? Probably. Kapes is a modern twist on the classic British ice cream parlour. Serving a great range of treats, both baked and frozen. The soft serve is the showpiece here - a ‘99’ or ‘whippy’ to the more seasoned beach goer. A must for any visit to the beach, on warm days you’ll even think you’re in Miami.

Amazing view, delicious treats, wonderful service and most importantly, great coffee! What more could you want, Kapes, you have aced it!We had a lovely morning soaking up the sun on the seating area, thank you Tom, you started our day off perfectly!

Great coffee and cinnamon buns, also some quality ice creams to keep the kids quiet whilst you actually get to enjoy it with a sea view. Highly recommend if you are in Sidmouth

Had the best ever vegan Mr Whippy from here on our holiday!! I was in heaven, had not had a Mr Whippy for over 10 years. It even had a vegan chocolate dinosaur in it instead of a flake. Went back later the same day and had a second one haha!!! They had two flavours, vanilla and salted caramel. We chose vanilla but the nice server guy gave us a generous taste of the salted caramel too, it was also lovely. If I lived down there, I would be twice the size!

Every visit to the the seafront requires a latte from Kapes! Good vibes, amazing coffees and an excellent addition to Sidmouth! You won’t find a better coffee in town!

Great vegan/ plant based options, owner was friendly and passionate about the products and their quality. Choc chip mint and salted caramel were lovely. Nice little seating area to sit and enjoy them too.

Kapes serve the most amazing chocolate and vanilla soft serve.. I would recommend you all to try it! You will also find delicious cakes being served with good chat and a friendly smile! The perfect ice cream kiosk to visit this summer! ☀️
