Photo reads Coffee available to take away" but I got greeted by "we stopped serving hot beverages" at 10pm despite prominently placed espresso machines and all the other coffee shops being closed in the station."

An absolute gem for the weary traveller! Especially if you are fortunate enough to be served by Beth or Abbie! They made me feel so welcome, and were extremely helpful. I didn't eat this time, but the food I saw going past me looked very appealing. I highly recommend this place if you're passing through Leeds and want a warm, friendly, local pub feeling.

The staff here are really friendly and despite being totally indoors within the station building the few tables out the front make it feel open and refreshing. Indoors there’s options to relax with a drink as a singleton, or a group meal, with everywhere being clean and spacious. Given the prime location the prices are reasonable and if you don’t have time to venture far it’s a decent option for a drink.

Great place to stop for a pint before your train. Nice atmosphere with people coming in after work, before a night in Leeds or just a quick one.£4.15 for an Amstel. So can't complain about the price ether!

Excellent service from young man behind the bar. He answered my questions about the wine choice and let me have a taste before I bought the one I liked the sound of. Other staff also looked to be helpful to other customers. Bar clean and welcoming, fairly unusual on train stations. So top marks fro m me. Many thanks.
