We needed to arrange for the removal of a large oak tree which had partially uprooted and was precariously hanging over our neighbours garden. Several companies came to quote and declined to do so as they felt the job was too technical for them. We called Mike from Mighty Oaks who came out to see what was involved and immediately felt reassured that we could trust him to help us. He explained the complexity of the job and swiftly coordinated the team to prepare for its removal. We had our very own 'mighty oak' that needed a crane to remove it safely. On the day, we were impressed with the Mighty Oaks team and how they efficiently removed the tree. After they left, you wouldn't have known they had been - they left the area spotless . Mike and the team at Mighty Oaks did a fantastic job removing a large laurel tree, a goat willow and 3 larches. The 4 guys turned up on time, were very professional and fast working. They cleaned everything up afterwards and accommodated my request to keep some wood for our small wood burner. The cost was very reasonable too and very competitive in relation to the other quotes I'd been given.

2nd time we’ve used Mighty Oaks, they were here this morning again and completed the work quickly, safely and to a very high standard. Cut down an Alder tree which was dying, trimmed a plum tree and did a great job of trimming our Magnolia tree. Highly recommend this company as the boys who work there are also excellent at their job who look after you property. They’ve cleaned up after themselves and the place is spotless.

Mighty Oaks have just completed a fantastic job in my garden. They work in a very professional manner and are always able to offer advice in providing the best care for my trees. They undertake their work sympathetically to the surroundings, clearing up and removing all offcuts, branches and waste as they go. I called Mike and a number of other tree surgeons for quotes on removing 10 trees. Mike arrived on time provided a professional appraisal of the job, explained safe methods of working and provided a written (competitive) quote, method of work statement and certificate of insurance. The work started on time, was delivered on time and throughout the work the entire team were courteous, respectful considerate of neighbours and really hard working. They really have made an outstanding job of the tree removal and even accommodated last minute changes to the original requirements. I always use Mighty Oaks and have never had cause for complaint. I have been using them for several years. They are friendly, professional and do a really good job. They clean up all the clippings and close the gates behind them. They work well as a team and I would highly recommend!

I had no idea who to contact to cut some trees in my garden. I got Mighty Oaks name from the council. They came to see the garden quickly and were so helpful, explaining everything that could be done. When they arrived to cut the trees they were amazing- all the neighbours were watching as they worked! They cleared everything from my and the neighbours gardens.
