Loved La Cenerentola. Very good production, entertaining with great singing. Lovely surroundings. However, in the restaurant the food portions could have been a little more generous.

Beautiful gardens and a lovely tour with the Head Gardener, ahead of a terrific performance of La Boheme tonight. Picnic was lovely and relaxed. Easy in and out, and well worth it. Staff very welcoming and service spot on. If you haven't been- you are missing out!

La Cenerentola, so good, amazing venue, the acoustics and beauty of the place, its main house, and fabulous country setting, my wife and I had excellent experience including dining. Well worth a visit. Will certainly be coming back for other performances. Highly recommend, the host and owners and their team were so welcoming.

Beautiful performance by Michael Morpurgo and an accompanying singer (who I must find the name of!)A reading of his famous book - War Horse.The setting was wonderful, Nevill Holt is beautiful and we were very lucky with the weather.Both my partner and mother shed tears at the performance!I'm a British volunteer in the Ukrainian Army, so the performance was extra special for me.

The quality of the Opera is excellent, the performance was incredible and moving. The new theatre is a great venue with brilliant acoustics and excellent veiws from all seats. The evening as a whole is a memorable and enchanting experience with the choice of hiring a tent, having a Picknick in the gardens or a marquee dining option. Walking around the grounds before the opera is a great time to see the sculptures and take in the exquisitie veiws across Leicestershire. Most of the guests went for the full black tie however there is no pressure to strictly adhere to this policy. As a whole Nevil Holt Opera is a wonderful beautifully set evening.

Nevill Holt Opera
Lovely house and garden on the borders of Leicestershire and Northamptonshire. Nevill Holt runs a small opera festival in the summer with young singers in the starring roles. The theatre there is well designed and I've enjoyed immensely the 3 operas I have seen there.
