Free car par. Great circular walks from short to long, flat to hilly. Deer platform also.

Camp field carpark is a place I walk through regularly, It has a historic origin as a point of destination that people travel to. Like many places on Cannock Chase it seems like just a convenient carpark in the middle of nowhere but as a result of the wars in the 1900's The Brindley village was built, look up the entrance picture on the internet and then stand looking down the path that leads northwest. The foundation of the buildings are still there.

I use this area, to walk my dogs as well as many others dog owners. It is off the main highway. The down side is the state of surface, potholes and poor surfaces, also it is a perfect spot for Anti Social Behavior people.

Great place had a lovely 5 mile walk in the sun, bring some cold drinks and a pack lunch. You can park along the field for free if you can find space.

If you like walking in open countryside this is an excellent spot you can walk around the flat field or follow one of the numerous other walks that start off from here.
