HSS Hire

wow - same as the others comments really, lazy bunch, couldnt even be bothered to show me how to set up the hire equipment i was about to use, not even one was able to show me because they claim that they dont know how set it up which was a core drill, its only just to save me a bit of time before i went to site and there was 8 of them sat on their butts just chatting, they claim that they dont know how you set the item up - lol, surely someone would know - its their job, i think i will stick with brandon and speedy as they always go through the set up in case you are not sure - if you ask,

First the Tool was broken, obviously hadn’t been checked. it was replaced for different one but I’d lost a days work trying to get it to work in the first place so I was told I could keep it for an another day at no extra charge. When I returned it they billed me the extra money took it out of my account and then took 2 months to refund me the right amount. I won’t be using HSS again. Incompetent

It pains to write this review but what an awful company to deal with!When turning up to collect what was already purchased (a ladder) The 2 lads who worked here was puffing away and in no rush to finish there cigarettes blowing it in my face.I was then told to wait 10 minutes (which turned into an hour or over!!)The swearing and Laungaged used by staff was baffling every other word was a swear word.They finally told me to come back down to the office to make a deposit payment this took another half hour.The whole experience wasted 2 hours off of our day! Will NEVER use HSS again!!!Then to add salt to the womb they couldn’t take a deposit the guy said I don’t know why I’m not sales.The attitude is awfull!We walked away leaving a job unfinishedPlease do not use this rude, untrained and clueless company !

I have never been so let down by anyone than by this company on multiple occasions now. Each time I have used them they have failed to send the correct equipment costing me hundreds on each job

Great delivery but for the 3rd time collection a bit of a farce 2 days late again on collection lacknof vans I was told !! Then buy more vans

Useless. I worked with these guys via an agency and at first things started great but things soon took a turn for the worst when they started to ask me to put my licence at risk by driving not only with loads I was unable to secure in the back of the vehicle but also in vehicles unsuitable for the job.Working for this company is definitely not recommended.

The guys on desk were great to deal with. Had a minor-ish issue with the equipment but it did the job well despite that, just took longer than it should.

We are still waiting for our deposit back 1 and half weeks later, we are chasing and no one returns our call. We are fobbed off constantly and told it's with the IT Team. HSS are normally really great but on this occasion we are frustrated at the service we have received. We are owed over £160. We were initially told 3 days, then 5 now no-one can tell us what is going on. I'd be grateful for a response HSS!

HSS ARE HAPPY TO DROP OFF FAULTY GOODS - I Got dumped with a faulty generator, broken manifest and duff exhaust.Took numerous phone calls to get a replacement and no one has returned my calls after requesting a refund.

Hired a week in advance turned up and they were out of stock
