Amorino Gelato - Cambridge
I had my first delightful experience at the new Italian gelato shop in Cambridge- Amorino, and I must say it was truly amazing! The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a wide selection of flavours, each more enticing than the last. It was a tough choice to make, but I finally settled on trying their signature rose-shaped ice cream on a chocolate-dipped cone. The presentation of the rose-shaped ice cream was stunning, and it made the whole experience feel special. As I took my first bite, I was instantly transported to gelato heaven. The texture was incredibly creamy and smooth, and the flavours were rich and authentic. I chose a combination of flavours including coffee, dark chocolate and hazelnut chocolate. They were delicious!!! In addition to ice-cream, the shop also offers other desserts like macarons, waffles, crepes etc.The shop itself is not so big but it had a cozy ambiance, perfect for enjoying a gelato treat with friends or just savouring the moment by yourself. The staff were friendly and offered helpful recommendations, making the experience even more enjoyable.I'm already looking forward to my next visit, eager to explore more of their fantastic flavour combinations. If you're in Cambridge and craving some authentic Italian gelato, this place is an absolute must-visit! Trust me; you won't be disappointed.

Friday. Night. Nov 2023A little pricy but consider the seat I need for a rest, it’s quite nice.Lemon sorbet > amarena > pastacchoi(Personally)I think gelato are for lighter taste, which is true here.

Such a disappointment as I love this shop in France! The three girls were quite slow and I had to wait for 20 minutes to get a crepe with sugar at £4.70, which I also found pricey. Then the crepe was I one the worst ones I have ever eaten: cold (obviously not freshly cooked) and with tons of 2 types of sugar (icing and brown sugar on top, not even inside the crepe). Furthermore I felt that I was eating cardboard and it was very bland. For the the price, it was outrageous. I give my one star to the ordering system as it was on a screen and the process was very quick and easy to use. I will obviously not go again, which is a shame as it just opened in Cambridge. For ice-creams, I will stick to Jack’s Gelato, which I had straightaway afterwards in order to get rid of the bad taste in my mouth.

Very expensive tourist place not worth at all. Big selection of ice creams but Ice cream cost around £8.70 for a ball and some of them are not that tasty. This time, I ordered a chocolate waffle for £5.70, which was taken out of the freezer frozen than reheated on their toaster and i was shocked seen it in front of me than a nasty cheap tasting chocolate syrup was put on top with powder sugar it tasted awful and the waffle was disintegrating when you touch it, which is a result from been made than frozen, than reheated again. I've never seen such a bad waffle made in my life. The staff was not engaging with customers the girl working there is beautiful but didn't even bother to greet the customers or me even when I greeted her she was looking uninterested working there didn't smile and stood like a monument the other two indian boys just made the orders and worked quetly. The place is a ok size for about 24 people nicely decored, clean and modern with touchscreens to order things are getting fast and easy no complications. You can get better ice cream, waffles and crepes made fresh and way cheaper at other places around town. I won't be coming back. This place used to be a old mobile phone shop and before that was a candy shop both of them didn't last long let's see how long this one will last.

Four scoops of ice cream for under a fiver and not a bad choice of flavours.Seating is available and you order via a digital display.Scoops could do with being a little bit bigger, but provides a good option to try a few flavours.

The design of the shop is very open and the interior was welcoming and fancy. There were plenty of tables spacious enough for anyone. There were tablets on which you could order and provided helpful descriptions of different sizes falvours and prices. The person serving at the time was an italian which was very pleseant to talk to and overall very helpful. The ice cream is the best I have tasted in Cambridge even the better than the one next to aromi/eagles pub. Overall pretty good, best ice cream in town.

I ordered a regular small ice cream and waited 30 minutes and it looked nice but taste-wise, lacking. It's definitely ice cream but far from being gelato. I find this shop pricey and not really worth the money spent. Very badly managed queues and waiting 30 minutes for an ice cream which immediately starts melting is not wort it.
