Cheese Factory Tour Experience - High Weald Dairy

What a great early evening tour. Steve was a great host and very passionate about cheese!! The tour ended up in the High Weald Dairy tasting room where we were given an excellent selection of High Weald Dairy Cheeses. Would highly recommend.

We took a team of 20 people to High Wield Dairy for the cheese tour. It was a brilliant experience! Even though we were a large group, everyone felt involved and was able take part at each stage. A huge thank you must go to Steve who made the tour so enjoyable for everyone. We will be back again!

Who knew there could be so many fascinating facts about cheese?! Steve made the tour really fun and interesting. And the cheese was delicious - I would wholeheartedly recommend the tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our cheese tour with Steve last week. The evening began with a tour of the different rooms and equipment used to make cheese. Nothing was off limits and no question was too much trouble. Steve is very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. We all came away with a good understanding of the cheese-making process from start to finish. The tour concluded with a cheese tasting session. Generous portions of 5 different delicious cheeses, some crackers and a yummy chutney. All in all this was a fantastic experience and a fun evening, a very good gift to have received.

I had the cheese tour bought for a birthday surprise. Steve was very knowledgeable about all things cheese and made it fun along the way. Lot's of cheesy jokes! The amount of work, science and hygiene that goes into making the delicious cheese was mind blowing. Obviously the cheese tasting at the end was the cream on top of the day. I've discovered I prefer sheep milk made cheese. Faves's of the day in order Brighton Ewe, Seven Sisters, St Giles Velvet. Highly recommend

A very enjoyable tour, and a great tasting. Steve the tour guide was passionate and knowledgable about his subject, and made the time fly as we toured the various stages of the process.The place was exceptionally clean.We now have a better understanding about the differences between cow , sheep and goats cheeses., and an appreciation of the dedication of the artisan cheese makers.

This is a very unique experience!! You will learn lots about the science behind chesse making and of course you will get to try some amazing chesse!!
