Tyler’s is an outstanding wood supplier. I’m an independent furniture maker and therefore not a big customer for them, but they are always so helpful no matter my inquiry. They have a huge and varied stock, and the wood shop is great if you need smaller quantities. I highly recommend!

Can't fault their service as it was excellent. Placed an order and they (*Jonny) machined it while I waited. The owner even allowed me to walk around the large garden! Would (no pun intended!) throughly recommend them. *Apologies if I've spelt your name wrong.

Great people to deal with. I’m a furniture maker so I only buy small quantities but that doesn’t seem to bother the staff. They help me select the best boards no matter how much stock they have to move to get what I’m looking for. I’ve had some really superb timber in the last year since I discovered Tyler Hardwoods. The prices are very reasonable and a bargain for the quality.

Great selection of local and exotic hardwoods. The people are lovely and very helpful. More focused on trade business, but also welcoming to smaller scale purchasers such as furniture makers, woodturners etc. If you haven't visited before it's worth calling ahead to be sure their warehouse staff are available to help you get into the stacks with forklifts, as their hours can vary. Prices provided on enquiry

An Aladdin's cave for wood turners and craftsmen. They have range of hardwoods, native and exotic, sheets of burrs and waney edges all at good prices. The also offer a cutting and planing service too. Staff very helpful. My only complaint is I wish I'd found this place earlier!
