Unless you are very indecisive, have too much money or are an extremely messy cook, it's unlikely that you will require more than one campervan interior to be fitted in your van's lifetime, so when you do it, make sure you are getting the best service and design available.Only an utter fool would ignore the established and trusted design/fitting service offered by VanWurks. I had eBayed my old VW T25 interior having waited a long time and emptied my bank account on a full bodywork restoration. Some might say that is utterly foolish because only latterly did I discover that I should have retained some key pieces for templates to build a new one. Defeated and facing life with an ill-fitting campervan version of a monstrous carbuncle for an interior, I spoke to Nick at VanWurks, who was prepared to apply his creativity to my empty shell.Nick and his team set to work whilst I sat around like a self-indulgent WAG choosing colours, curtains and upholstery patterns. The units and finishes available were perfect for what I had in mind. I was kept up to date and consulted every step of the way with opportunities to both visit and have photographs of the progress they were making. VanWurks were friendly and professional throughout. Always on hand with advice and, on one occasion a mop, when my new dog got too excited by the whole experience.Nick came up with a great idea for the upper bed solution in the high top - mine had been missing since I bought the van ten years before. His design is slim-fitting ,neat, yet really, I mean really, strong.I've had the first season camping now and I am completely blown away by the quality of the finish, attention to detail on the trimming and the fantastic job they did of installing the ‘T25 Classic interior’. There are some wonderful little touches which make it special - touch-sensitive top bunk lights, secure and discreet gas bottle storage and a great little cutlery drawer. Every time I open it I'm reminded of one of my friends describing a mutual friend's psychotic new wife as 'a knife-drawer rattler'. If you're that way inclined, this is the design for you as it's hidden but easy to access!The fridge also has a removable ice compartment, can hold around 40 pre-mixed cans of pink gin and I've discovered reusable ice cubes which work perfectly. Of course don't try this at home, it's much better in a field or on a beach.I'm looking forward to many years of forcing beans on toast down people's necks and getting told off for sleeping in laybys. Hurrah!

After finding Nick and talking through everything I required I took a solid but slightly 'worn' T2 which was throughly transformed. The job was done quickly and to a high standard.I now have a fully usable great looking camper which should see me right for years.Great company and highly recommended.

I have a 1975 T2 which had most of an interior but was missing it's kitchen unit (hob, sink, fridge). The rest of the van has a fairly usable Westy bed, wardrobe and overhead locker a previous owner had done a good job re-trimming but didn't want the van full of units. The Kompact looked perfect for my needs so I rang and spoke to Nick. Nick was really helpful from the start and was going to send some colour samples through the post. I'm lucky enough to be fairly close to VanWurks so I arranged a visit later that week. Nick and Liz were really friendly, they didn't rush me even made me a spot on cup of coffee, then we looked at my van. We both thought the Kompact would fit well and we colour matched to my existing interior. I liked the Kompact but asked for some minor alterations - I didn't want a gas locker or water carrier compartment preferring instead to have more cupboard space. Nick agreed to make me a slightly bespoke unit without any fuss or argument. When it came time to collect Coronavirus had the country in lockdown, I was also forced into shielding. Nick then helpfully arranged to have my Kompact palletised and delivered very reasonably.The unit arrived packed really well with a decent courier service. The colour match is close to perfect and it complements my van really well now it's fitted. The build quality is spot on and even though it's modern (compressor fridge, Dometic appliances) it really suits the van. It's well thought out and fitting is easy.Overall I'm really happy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I've not actually used this service, but whoever I just spoke to on the phone was ridiculously helpful. Extremely patient, and wasn't pushing sales, which for me is the best sales tactic. I'm gonna get my head around fitting an interior then ordering from Van Wurks. Good customer service is so hard to find, especially in the motoring world!

We cannot thank Nick and his team enough for what they have done. From the moment we met Nick he made us feel totally at ease (offering lovely coffee! as well) and we knew he was the right man for the job. We didn't have a clue where to start with choosing a new interior but Nick was on it, he has a fantastic eye and he treats each bus individually he came up straight away with materials, flooring, cabinet colours etc. We were both very nervous getting our lovely bus Beatrice back but all I can say is that when she came home we were both blown away, the fit was immaculate, everything went together, we had chosen some curtain material that was discontinued and went for another one Nick had picked, we were both anxious if it would go but OMG they look stunning and we are so glad the other material was out of stock LOL! Since getting the bus back we are cannot stop looking at her, LOL and we certainly cannot wait to take her out next year and show her off. So a massive thank you Nick and your fab team, we are so pleased. We highly recommend Van Wurks, if you want a good job doing these are the people to do it for you. I purchased a buddy seat and Nick was very helpful with good advice and he took time to come up with ideas about how to install it in my T25. Also, him and Adam made a back for the seat for me while I waited! Great service and one happy customer.

Nick and his team did an amazing job on the interior of my van. Not only did they deliver the brief I gave them they also made suggestions that ensured the final outcome exceeded my expectations. He was always available to chat on the phone and kept me fully informed throughout the process with photographs and texts. Well worth the trek up from London!
