Our favourite place on the Norfolk Coast! Membership is great value if you visit more than once a year. Food at the Cafe could be improved. Suggest a pack lunch and hot drinks/ cake from the cafe as a better option.

We drove and parked our 7m campervan with no issues and then enjoyed the walk towards the beach, we didn't rush and took in the surroundings, we made it in around 30-40mins, the tide was out and views were amazing.

If you access Holme Beach from Staithe Lane then absolutely do check the local tide tables. The section near the old building up to Thornham Old Harbour is liable to flooding. We saw one couple wading back to their car, luckily in only a foot of water. Holme Beach and dunes are an absolute delight, a made up path and board walk form part of the Norfolk Coastal Path. You can easily walk to Old Hunstanton, about three miles away. Sunsets at Holme are breath-taking.

Lovely place to visit, very quiet, we almost had the beach to ourselves at one point.

We walked from Thornham along the path to Holme Beach - almost deserted. One of my favourite places. Despite high winds - still managed a paddle.

One of our favourite place to walk. So much wildlife and beautiful soundscape of marsh birds and the wind blowing in the reeds and grasses. Peaceful and good for the soul.

This beach is a true hidden gem along the north norfolk coast. Sandy, open beach with amazing views and big open skies. We caught a great sunset here. Most people head to Wells or Holkham, so if you want a peaceful day/evening at the beach Holme is a great option. The road down to the car park is fairly narrow. 10 minute walk from car park, be mindful of the brief crossing over the golf course, especially in the daytime.

One of the places and part of Norfolk that we will visit with pleasure. Long walks along the sandy beach along the dunes and forests. Bird habitats, pools and silence interrupted by the sounds of nature... if you are nearby, be sure to spend some time here.

A splendid natural area of salt marsh, tidal marsh, and gorgeous sand dunes. We were impressed by the well-kept walkways and decent signs along the route to the glorious beach.Even though we visited during the school holidays, we found plenty of space to exercise our lively boxer and set up for a picnic.I would have liked to see more rubbish bins, dog poo bins, and a public toilet at the free car park.
