I had both knees replaced by Mr Wall between March 2022 and November 2022., my consultation was in November 2021.On both occasions the experience was almost pleasant (if that's the correct way to describe the experience?)I have nothing but praise for Mr Wall and his team and Spire Roundhay in general.I returned yesterday for a '1 year on review' and everything is as it should be!Many thanks to all involved!Highly recommended by myself.

I'm very pleased with support I received from Mr Wall. I had persevered with knee injuries, from playing football and mixed martial arts, for about 3 years as I was afraid I'd have to undergo surgery. However, it got to a point were I couldn't ignore it anymore after I ended up on crutches after a football game. Mr Wall was recommended to me by one of his former trainee doctors. I was able to see him really quickly and he was able to diagnose my injury, which was an ACL rupture and a partial meniscus tear. Mr Wall really put me at ease, explained the injury to me and presented to me the options I had. I felt empowered to make the decision and choose the type of intervention in line with my life style and fitness priorities. The surgery went smoothly and the recovery has been very good. Moreover, the after care has been excellent. He is reassuring, very easy to talk to and very personable. I would definitely recommend Mr Wall.

Mr Wall replacement my right knee in April 22 and I enjoyed it so much I got the other one done in September 22.After suffering with knee pain and reduced mobility for a few years I am now pain free and back to walking, rowing and fishing!Owen and his team at Nuffield are excellent. I had struggled with patellar tendinopathy for several years with the chronic pain slowly becoming worse and impacting on daily life as well as preventing me from training and participating in sport. Physio and less invasive treatment did not resolve the issue. 8 months on from the operation performed by Mr Wall and the pain is largely resolved and I am now training 4-5 times per week again. The knee feels about 85-90% back to normal and is continuing to improve. I am very happy with the results.

Last year I had severe pain in my right knee and could hardly walk. After extensive research I chose Owen Wall which was a fabulous decision. He informed me I would need a partial knee replacement. I could leave it, but that would probably result in a full knee replacement in the near future.I was quite nervous about the operation, but everybody involved was absolutely fabulous.The level of communication throughout the process was great and the process re MRI scans etc were quick and I couldn’t fault the level of after-care.I chose to have the operation at the Nuffield in Leeds going into theatre I was somewhat nervous, but everybody put me at ease and we’re so kind and comforting.After the operation they had me walking up the stairs then I was able to go homeI would urge anybody to keep up with the physio that they recommend you do at home.I would like to publicly thank Owen Wall for his incredible skill and a year on I’m playing Tennis, Padel, Golf, Walking 10k steps a day and riding my Peloton Bike 10 miles with no issues whatsoever which I find amazing. My son had a suspected ACL rupture and miniscal tear so was recommended seeing Owen Wall by our Physio as he has specific experience in operating on children. Seen, diagnosed and operated on very promptly with excellent thorough aftercare. Extremely satisfied with the whole process and he has done a fantastic job. Thanks again.
