I have worked for Home Instead Brighton for 2 years and cannot fault the company. Professional, caring office staff and dedicated Care Givers. Ongoing time and effort is taken to match Care Givers to clients and to ensure that those receiving care have their needs met in the most appropriate and considerate ways

I joined Homeinstead as a Caregver in February this year after having worked for 43 years in an office environment. I wasn’t sure how I would get on with this big change of career but I am thoroughly enjoying it. The staff have been very helpful and with the training packages available I am seeing and caring for very interesting and lovely clients. I was unsure about the personal care side of caring but find this has become easier with experience and getting to know the individual clients.

I feel so lucky to have found Home Instead. I have worked for the Brighton team for 18 months now and have loved every minute. We are all trained and supported to deliver the best person centred care to all our clients, equally. Not only are the clients loved and valued but so are we. Most definitely a life changing place to work, for clients and staff alike.

Home Instead is a fantastic company to work for. I used their services for the care of my mum 4 years ago and was extremely impressed with how professional, dedicated and caring they were. The caregiver was a perfect match and her visits brought my mum so much joy. In Nov 2020 an opportunity arose in my work life and I jumped at the chance to join the wonderful Home Instead team and become a CAREgiver. The company is very supportive and the clients so lovely. The work is exceptionally rewarding and I feel valued by both the company and the clients.

Have worked at Home Instead Brighton for just under four years and had no experience as a carer prior to this. The ongoing training is excellent and you are supported by the office team and management at all times if needed. In my experience everyone who works here feels passionate about what they are doing to make a positive difference in peoples lives. Visits are a minimum of one hour which gives you a chance to get to know the individual client better as well as being a better arrangement for the clients themselves.Different levels of care are provided ( companionship, home help and personal care) and where possible the support staff will try and accommodate your preferences subject to the needs of the clients and availability.

Coming up for 7 years working for Home Instead after vowing never to do care work again !Office team / management are approachable and understanding. Friendly and safe environment. Considerate matching of clients to care professionals. Holiday accrued seems generous .

Sadly we lost my father recently, he was 92 and lived independently at home until the very end.Liz Brackley and her team were instrumental in this.It was Dads wish that he would not go into a home and despite his failing health, he retained his marbles until the end.Liz and team were kind, patient, and incredibly flexible and responsive, upping and slowing care as needed, and putting up with his sharp tongue and medical complexities.There are no words that can truly express how grateful we are for this amazing service but it is testament that even while we are grieving we wanted to publicly thank Liz and her team.

I've absolutely loved working for Home Instead even if it was just for 7 months. They've made my short time here in Brighton so meaningful, and the times I spent with my clients are some of the most valuable. To have the honour to listen to their life stories, their thoughts on growing old, of illness, of family and life, is something I treasure deeply and will bring with me wherever I go. The office team is immensely kind, understanding, supportive and flexible, and I have felt welcomed since I had my first call back. I cannot recommend enough working for them and to be their client.
