Marcus Gilbert is a pleasure to deal with. He is a contentious workman with a huge capacity for detail and making things look right. He transformed our old family gravestone to make way for an additional family member and was most sympathetic in his restoration. I would highly recommend him and his team in Southport. We are very pleased with the result and now have a headstone that was well overdue a bit of tlc. That is what we got. Thank you Marcus.

After being let down by another Stonemason, it was probably a blessing in disguise!I contacted Marcus Memorials as I needed a tablet to be made for a planned memorial whilst visiting Southport from overseas.Marcus ended up making a tablet at short notice and it is just perfect. I can highly recommend his workmanship and the service we received from both Chris and Marcus was professional and compassionate. Can’t thank you enough.

I would definitely recommend Marcus, he has engraved a stone for my parents and my son. It is over 10 years since my mum died and the stone still looks like new. He has just completed a headstone for my husband and I am very pleased with it. Thank you Marcus.

We wanted to add an inscription for my Mum to my Dad's stone at St Stephen's in Banks. I dealt with Chris from Marcus Memorials via phone and email and the communication was great .Not patronising but friendly and efficient and my family couldn't have been happier with the stone for the interment of my parent's ashes. Always a sad time but when things are dealt with in this manner it makes things easier to bear for all concerned. Thanks from all the family

Marcus did excellent work creating a stone for my Nana. We were so happy with the work that we asked him to redo the letting on my Mum’s stone which will have been in place for 30 years this year…another excellent job done. Chris was also very helpful in his communications to get things arranged. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a new stone, or to get an existing one redone.

Marcus stepped in to take on this job. Him and his team (Chris!) were great from start to finish. This wasn’t a straightforward stone to do but he took time out to meet and listen to our needs. The finished stone was fantastic and will sit in alongside dad’s family grave. Thank you for the real care and a superb quality job.
