David was absolutely fantastic, friendly and happy to service my boiler. He explained everything in detail and chatted about the company, he’s was very positive and nothing was a problem. It was nice to have someone who was enthusiastic with the job and not just all talk, highly recommended by me and can’t thank David and Conor enough for there time and advise throughout. Glad to be there customer ❤️

I have used Calderwood Plumbing for two jobs; boiler service and second opinion on plumbing by our builder.Connor and his team were prompt, professional and provided clear information and advice. There are on the ball with their customer service with regular updates on scheduled appointments and estimates when an engineer will arrive.Currently have my heating plan with them and they would be my first call for any other issues (touch wood).

Very happy with the boiler service and additional advice given. We will use them again in the future.

We've used Calderwood for a number of things now. They put in a new ensuite for us last year, they have serviced our boiler and more recently I have taken out a boiler plan for them to service my mum's boiler. Always professional and turn up when they are meant to which is always helpful!

My experience with Calderwood has been mixed, and this is to do with the two aspects of any contractor; the work and the administration.The work I requested was for a survey of the heating system through the house. This, according to their quote, includes a boiler check and a survey of the property, including underfloor where possible. The estimate was for this to take 3 hours, keep this in mind.With regards to the work, while I do believe their workers to be competent, qualified and professional, not all of the quoted work was completed. Specifically this is in reference to the underfloor survey.This leads to the negative: the administration. As I contracted them separately, this is not an issue you will likely encounter when subscribed to their services, but contrary to most contractors, they do not appear to have any flexibility with regards to payments, even though the scope of their work and time spent is vastly different from quoted.As I noted above, the quote was for 3 hours of estimated work and the price was fair for that amount.But when the engineer leaves after 45 minutes, presumably to another job to generate revenue, I find the lack of willingness to negotiate a reduction, considering this is a quarter of the quoted time spent, rather disappointing.TLDR; I would recommend their professionalism if you plan to use their services as a boiler service and heating insurance company. Otherwise I would recommend caution to ensure you are getting the full work that was quoted for.
