Landlords, steer clear! This is not the reputable agency they present themselves as, but rather seemingly a single man with dubious morals and business practices.As you'll notice from other reviews, John is the only employee mentioned and he seems to be the entirety of Arrow Estates. After many attempts at calling their office number, I'm almost certain they have no office staff, as all calls will be automatically diverted to John's mobile, no matter the day or time.After I paid a holding deposit for a room, he decided to cancel the offer out of the blue with no warning or reason given. I had provided no information about myself and background checks had not begun, so this was not due to any failed Right to Rent check on my part.I tried to call him multiple times to get some clarification on what had gone wrong and whether the situation could be resolved somehow - I assumed the deposit had secured the room as long as my checks passed, and had begun making plans to move in.Rather than answering and confirming whether the room was no longer available, or why the application had been cancelled for no apparent reason, John decided to screen my calls and avoid me. I got a strong impression that he knew he had behaved in a dubious, underhanded way and was hoping that I would just give up and go away.Finally, I emailed Arrow Estates and got an aggressive reply from John (still offering no explanation for cancelling the application) threatening to report me for harrassment if I kept calling. Note that at this point I had not spoken a word to him since things turned sour, I had simply tried multiple times to call him and been sent straight to voicemail!Really dodgy behaviour overall, and I would advise everyone to steer well clear of this tinpot one-man 'agency'.
