Always a great experience and they are constantly adding new machines keeping the place feeling fresh every visit. A must for anyone who has fond memories of the Arcades growing up

The whole experience is seamless - great website, comms and crucially they haven't tried to overstuff it. You don't have to queue for ages for the (frankly brilliant) selection of machines available. Though Defender is WAY harder than I remember! They've even put seats out for the kids and tables for the beers. Perfect.

Great atmosphere and nostalgia provided at this event. Highlights for me were holding the old console controllers from my childhood and also stumbling across the Wonderboy game, not sure which console I played it on all those years ago. Turtles were a big draw for the wee man but he also kept going back to the pinball machines. Well worth admission.

We really enjoyed our trip to Base Arcade. There was a great selection of classic arcade machines and consoles. Everything was so well organised and everyone was helpful and friendly. We didn't have to wait more than a few minutes to try the machines. Would recommend for both adults and children. We are looking forward to our next visit already!

As always an amazing event. The team who are on hand to help out are 1st class, really knowledgeable and their enthusiasm just shines through. The range of cabinets/ games is just great and all in amazing condition, it's like going to a museum and been able to touch and play the exhibits! If you've got a similar vintage as myself it's like going back to a time that got me into gaming and thanks to Base I could share it with my son.I couldn't recommend enough, if you're sitting on the fence or perhaps going on your own, just go, everyone is so welcoming. You won't regret it.

Had an absolute blast - great selection across arcade, pinball and retro games. Great guys too, appreciated my crazy taxi top as well, though I really enjoyed the crazy taxi cabinet so happy on both sides! Only negative is I can't pop in when I want but maybe in the future!

Our group of 5 loved our visit on Sunday 2nd. Being a mix of 80s and 90s children we got to play many of our old favourites like Outrun, Crazy Taxi, Mortal Kombat 2, Bubble Bobble, Shinobi, Metal Slug etc in a nice chilled atmosphere. 4 hours seemed like the perfect amount of time to visit each machine at least once. There were also a good selection of pinball tables as well as a section devoted to home consoles like N64, Amstrad, Megadrive, Saturn, SNES and 3DO. I was pleasantly surprised to even find a Sinclair spectrum running Ninja Gaiden among this collection too.In the interests of honesty, there were some machines with problems but we have to remember that most of them are now 20 years old or more so some gremlins will crop up now and again. That being said the organisers were fantastic at rectifying issues where they could.I do hope this pop-up arcade will become a more permanent fixture but for the moment I can see why tickets sell out so quickly. Whether you are interested in video games in general, the history of arcade machines and video games, or just anything retro in general, I cannot recommend this attraction highly enough.

This was genuinely one of the greatest events I have attended in Belfast. It’s well organized, the available games are a perfect mix so there is something for everyone, and I got to play Royal Rumble for the first time in 25 years. We will be back every session we can get a ticket for. Sending lots of gratitude to the Oh Yeah and Base Arcade teams for making this happen.

It was an absolutely fantastic experience, an absolute 10/10! It was amazing being able to experience playing on vintage retro arcade cabinets and pinball tables with a massive variety of some of the most iconic games of the 80s and 90s and the recreation of an authentic 80/90s arcade atmosphere was top notch! Staff were helpful if there were any issues, were extremely friendly and showed a massive level of passion for the event. Will definitely be coming to the next event!
