Densens Cobblers

Possibly the worst shoe repair I've ever seen. Heels were clearly too small and the soles were glued on top of the previous worn-out glue-on soles instead of replacing them.

Tried all chain shoe repairers to get my boots fixed they either took a sharp intake of breath as though it would cost loads or they said they couldnt be repaired. Densons didnt hesitate and did a great job for a fiver!!! These little independants really are a god send against the big chains. Would highly recommend!

Went today with my man bag I bought from Bethlehem, Israel. Which had rips in the sides where the straps are. Did a brilliant job of repairing it. Thank you.

I popped in to get a Doc Martens sandal repaired as buckle had come off. Also a leather bag with a broken strap. It's the same young men who have owned the shop for years and years always polite and professional. Broken sandal was repaired and the other one was double stitched on buckle to stop that one from breaking to. My battered handbag was repaired and the whole bag polished up and looking like new. All done in 15mins and for the cost of £10. Absolutely fab service please please support them.

Simply cannot understand why they would cut an expensive key, tell you to come back if it doesn't work, go back when it doesn't work, then tell you that they don't work with that brand of key!?If you go here, make sure you get a receipt.A a shame because they were friendly!

Very happy with a full zip repair on my magnums great customer service got my boots back in half an hour thay were polished and looking like new.

It pains me to have to write a very bad review of this cobblers, the man inside the shop completely disrespected me I gave him two pairs of shoes to have the heal done and polished he said it would cost me £20, I came back to see that he had ruined my shiny shoes completely and tried to say that there is nothing wrong with them he said he had used furniture polish which obviously ruined my shoes he had changed the shoes from shiny to mat black and then charged me £30 I did not want to cause a scene so I paid it and left, I’m sure the guy is a nice man but he seems a bit to old fashioned and stuck in his ways and what he says is right therefore no customer courtesy he clearly ruined my shoes and did not want to compensate for it
