Thames Paddleboarding

I attended a Paddlesports safety and rescue course with Thames Paddleboarding. Friendly instruction and guidance by skilled coaches.

Jane and Ian helped start my Kayaking journey almost two years ago when our club engaged them to run the Fundamental Safety and rescue Training. This introduction training was run with great professionalism and shared such a wealth of knowledge in a clear and easygoing way that it encouraged us to go back and engage them again whilst preparing for further awards.Jane and Ians love for the sport, depth of knowledge and skills as trainers / instructors and coaches has meant that our club return regularly to tap into their skills.Lovely people, who share their knowledge freely and easily.

Jane Wyndham Smith and Ian Bowditch took me through my British canoeing paddlesport saftey and rescue course, What fantastic instructors, i learnt such a big range of new skills and polished up my existing skills , i will be looking at booking further courses with them in the future and highly recommend them.

Great couple of days which were delivered in a safe and engaging way by Jane Wyndham-Smith. Our mixed group of ages, experience and paddle disciplines learned the theory and practical skills to gain the PSI award.

I recently attended a Foundation Safety Rescue Training course run by Jane and Ian of Thames Paddleboarding. The course was excellently laid out and they were both incredibly supportive and knowledgeable and everyone learned a great deal under their guidance. Could not recommend highly enough!

I attended the FRST safety course at BLYM Rickmansworth aquadrome. It was run by Jane and Ian. The experience and knowledge of both instructors was obvious. The teaching and delivery of skills was excellent. I learnt a lot from the day and will definitely be going back to Jane and Ian for further training.

Great course! Learnt different ideas about how to keep safe and save others while on the water in kayaks, paddle boards or canoes. Jane and Ian were really great at explaining and making sure we tried all the techniques out so we felt comfortable using them. Thanks again! Sarah

Hi I am a Coach and Leader with Chiswick Pier Canoe Club. We have worked with the dynamic duo Jane and Ian over many years. This is a highly experienced and qualified team of coaches coach. They always combine professionalism with making learning fun and exciting this is due to their huge passion for the sport and in training generally. They also complement each other well. They are strict where it is necessary but thorough. They also managed to stimulate discussions amongst our own coaches so we were able to be in a learning environment where we shared and learnt from each other.
