Excellent local garden centre. Wide range of plants and good value.

Great little garden centre tucked away. A massive selection of plants, shrubs and trees at all good prices. I bought a hanging basket and a big tray of plants to fill it myself and came to £11~. Other garden centres would sell these for £15+ easily. I also bought a mandarin orange tree which looks gorgeous and well looked after.

Small family owned nursery with great choice of trees/plants/shrubs.Lovely hanging baskets & tubs also available, and always staff around who are very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions and give advice.On my last visit I wanted a particular wooden box filled with plants for a gift. I've bought these previously for friends who have been delighted with them. On this occasion there weren't any available, but on speaking to a member of staff, she took me to the empty boxes, where I made my choice, and arranged to go back in a couple of days to pick it up fully planted. Beautiful & my friend loves it

An excellent gardening centre with a great stock of plants to choose from and also recommended by Longton Brickcroft Nature Reserve.I wanted plants to attract Butterflies for a customer and very good friend of mine, so there would be lots of beautiful colours next year.There was someone straight away to help me choose what I needed and was very Knowledgeable with everything.Highly Recommended

This is a relatively small nursery with a large selection of well-priced plants. The real star though was the pottery barn with a wide selection of quality plant pots at good prices- especially with 20% off in January. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. You can click and collect from their website too.

I found this garden center thanks to a friend on the tropical forum. I would like to highly recommend Newgate nuseries from the Preston area. Even though we live in Grange over Sands, we will be visiting this place regularly. I would like to add that the service is very nice, provides advice. Very good family business. Wish there were more places like this. I would highly recommend.

Bought glazed pots, med & large,very good quality and value, returned for pot stands,& compost, compost a little more expensive then elsewhere ,but pleased overall value, will return.

Really great place. They cover all your gardening needs. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a really professional service. Definitely recommend.

Our second visit to Newgate in a month. Best selection of pots for miles. We came back for summer bedding plants, not disappointed with the choice, quality and value. Bought more pots too!! This family run nursery is head and shoulders above others. Going back again in a couple of weeks more plants, more pots..
