It's a refuge site, not much really to say. Could be more efficient, the guys standing around (employees) could help with rubbish, that'd speed it up, which in turn would get cars through the process quicker and stop them sitting idling.Could also direct people to free bays, people clog up the queue waiting for specific spots, ll... Get them in a bay, rush them on and get people through.

Went this morning disposed of rubbish. Well organised. Went back with more rubbish would not let me in. They are only letting cars in today with odd numbered regs. It would have been help full if they let people know, would have saved another trip, and a smelly car full of rubbish. However they are doing a great job thank you.

Often use this tip due to it being a little bit further away that the Radcliffe one, giving me extra time alone in the car. This coupled with its close vicinity to a Burger King, where one can get an XL Bacon Double Cheese Burger Meal, thus extending one’s time out of the marital home, makes this a must-see location for any worn out husband and/or dad in the Bolton area.

Taken over by Suez so can now only visit once per week or be charged. Nice layout, need more signage to tell visitors where the particular bays are. Dispute between two women and one used some very colourful language, uncalled for.

Who ever designed this site is clueless! When the waste skips were on Leister Road it was in a horseshoe shape with all skips easily accessible no matter where you parked. The linear system employed here is useless with people making numerous trips up and down passing each other and causing delays. Rethink please!

i visit the centre regularly, always found the staff friendly and helpful.1. those who winge about single lane, its not a motorway with fast lane for the impatient.2. those who winge aboub not getting help for disabled relations, try asking someone, dont expect a servant to rush over and recognise your needs just because you are aware of them.3. as usual a great site, good friendly staff who dont need unfair or sarcastic comments made about their difficult and dirty job which the moaners would not carry themselves

Great tip. But why only open at 10am on a Sunday? There is queue all day because it is full to bursting from opening time. I am sat 3rd in a queue of about 20 cars and there is still another 10 minutes before it opens. Tip goers sit here with their engines running creating another hole in the ozone layer and causing another polar ice cap to melt.Sort it out Bolton Council and Viridor!
