Hi, my husband and I got married in the Wedgwood suite on 29/09/2023 and I just wanted to say our wedding day really was the best day ever and that wasn’t just down to the guests, the weather and all the planning and hard work we put in but it was also down to all the staff for taking care of us, organising and prepping and just being there whenever we needed them! There was no more they could of done for us and we are both so happy we chose the castle hotel for our special day ☺️ thank you again from the bottom of our hearts! Love from Rachel & Mark Wright xx

Room on small side, bed pushed against wall, not really practical for two 60 year old. Decor dated but clean. Ideal spot for town . Disabled parking right opposite but hotel had lots and lots of stairs.

We had our wedding here this weekend. The staff were more than helpful. They gave us an exceptional service. We are happy we chose here for our wedding

Very pleased with my two night stay at castle hotel. Room had absolutely everything you would need. Great hot shower .And it also came with a smart TV to access YouTube channels. They weren't serving cooked breakfast when I was there,but was offered a free continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Terrible hotel unclean rooms and bedroom door that wouldn’t lock. Maggots living around fire alarm on ceiling and under bed. Hotel refused to deal with this issue or refund me.

We had our wedding here last week, staff all went above and beyond to make our day perfect. It was a truly memorable day and despite the heat everyone was so helpful and professional, the food was lovely, service superb. Thank you all for making our day run smoothly and for making it a really special occasion

The worst hotel I've been for a while. The hotel is really disgusting. The rooms were horrible. wooden floor was cracking when you were stepping in the room you could hear your upper neighbor easily. They tried to cover this with a carpet but we are not deaf. My bathroom was ok. For keeping the window opened you need to place a screw in a hole, pigeons were next to my window. The air conditioning system was a wired fan. About the breakfast... what breakfast? expired white bread and a coffee machine taking into consideration that we were paying 20 bucks for that... that's thieving.Just an advice to everybody. NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL if you care about your health and higiene.

Service and communications need improving massively. Reception staff, however really friendly, shame that the level of professionalism isn't all across the staff.

Good location and that is about it. Hotel is very run down, windows don't stay open, sheets were dirty and the temperature is extremely hot/uncomfortable. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Can't praise this hotel enough. Son and daughter in law held their wedding reception here and from the receptionist onwards the staff were polite, welcoming and efficient. The supervisor and silver service waiting staff at the wedding breakfast did an amazing job. Food was tasty and plenty of it. Bar prices were very reasonable for a hotel. They even went out of their way to arrange for some of the wedding guests to be able to watch the Villa game after the wedding breakfast. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the 11am check out which meant we could enjoy a leisurely breakfast.
