Minster Equine Practice, Poppleton

Iam new to the practice. I've had Katherine and her student out to our yard. I just wanted to pass on how amazing she was with our horses. They had teeth checked and vaccinations. She was so kind and gentle. She was so knowledgeable and I was so pleased how calm the horses were with her. Thank you I was dreading when we had to move vets as the other practice closed, but today has filled me with confidence so pleased we now have you

Have been with Minster Equine for about three years, since I got my first horse. They have always been helpful and efficient. It feels like we're working together to keep the team at their best.

Amazing service as usual from the practice this Saturday. We were away with Alfie who developed cellulitis (v.common for him) quickly overnight. Not knowing what to do for the best, we rang the practice for advice and the on call vet quickly arranged for us to be put in contact with a nearby Equine Clinic after speaking to a vet up in Northumberland. Collected antibiotics 2 hours after the call!5* service.

We have only been with minster the last 6 months but they are fantastic. Pol is my favourite and full of useful information, the reception team on the phone are so helpful and attentive. Definitely will only use Minster from now on top service from the whole team. Lovely staff.

Very friendly staff, location perfectly set up and easy to find. Staff did an amazing job of clipping my extremely difficult horse under sedation and hot clothed her after. She looks amazing and the experience was stress free all round. Thank you. Highly recommend this service and this practice.

I have been with Minster for just over a year now and they have never let me down, from the routine vaccinations (which are included on their amazing value health plans) to slightly more urgent calls, they have always been there when I needed them, I have three horses of varying ages, my oldest being 31 and they are all treated as individuals, when we can, we make our appointments with Pol, he is a knowledge bubble and adores my old girl, no question is ever too much and you never get the feeling that you’re being an inconvenience. The other vets I’ve spoken to/seen are excellent too and would trust each and everyone of them. The reception team are kind, understanding and go above and beyond for my horses and myself! I recommend Minster to anyone who asks and cannot fault them in anyway. Top team, thanks guys, you’re all great! X

I chose this practise rather than my local one as I am more confident with their expertise. Julian spent 3 hours with my horse and explored every avenue. He then referred us to rainbow and is now assisting me with an insurance issue. Katie has always been super helpful and is really knowledgeable in treating horses with sacroilliac issues.
