Visited a long time ago, knew a relative of the couple. Still have the lovely silver Celtic knot birthstone earrings I purchased. Good as new still, wearing them today!

Went in feeling very hopeful about finding a ring as they were all beautiful. However, the woman with pink hair (I assume the owner???) was so unnecessarily rude to me that I didn’t want to give them my money. Couldn’t believe it - I’d chosen this shop as it looked wonderful! But the customer service was terrible so I would not recommend

Jewellery is amazing definitely the best I've seen in all the tourist shops around. Great prices too. However I felt the lady in the shop is unfriendly and as others mentioned almost hostile, does not seem to like the people visiting, despite me spending a lot of money in here. I get there needs to be some sort of control in the shop given how tiny it is, but I left feeling quite unhappy with how I was spoken to, as my friend went in after I did and said she had not been asked to move away from the rings as I had and she got the same items as me, and there were customers in the shop same as when I was in there.

I bought my mum some silver amber earrings for mother's day day. They are very good quality and were priced reasonably. My mum is very happy with them. The shop is lovely and full of really interesting items. I'll be visiting again when I'm next in Edinburgh.

Forget every bad comments you read about this lovely little shop.We found all the gifts to bring back to our friends and family in France. We've been warm welcomed and a friendly lady gave us all the answers needed on the goods. We brought lovely sterling jewellery and some special items like seal and wax for a very nice price. Thank you, we will surely come back next time in Edinburgh

I think the old man and woman in this shop are actual hobbits. They were so sweet and helpful. I literally had to turn sideways to get in the door - that's how small this place is. This is they type of place that makes you come to Edinburgh. Amazing.
