Shoreham Recycling Centre

This place is almost worthy of a place on the tourist map! Really well organised, the staff are super helpful and it's all clean and tidy. Appointment times are plenty and you get a generous 15 min slot in which to arrive. Queue time minimal.Heart warming to see these guys doing such a happy smiley job with a load of old rubbish! Well done you lot!

This is now the site for a trial of appointments for rubbish disposal. You have to book an appointment in a 15 minute time spot.We did so and turned up to be told they had no record of our booking. The idea was to cut down the traffic queue outside. By the time we had finished trying to confirm we had a booking there was a queue a mile long!Eventually let in. This trial as far as we are concerned is a failure and should be discontinued.

Excellent team that keep the place well organised and friendly. Always a pleasure to visit.

I came down from Manchester where there are no recycling centre restrictions such as making an appointment, providing Id, proof of residency, being subjected to incar inspections, changing highway traffic flow- I was helping out due to a tragic death in our family. Taking some stuff to recycling I was refused entry even though I explained why I had to visit the recycling centre being the deceased residents nearest recycling centre- I wish I could say that I was listened to by the council rep Matt with sensitivity and understanding but no I was refused entry and well it was a terrible experience. Erosion of human rights locally is real.

Always friendly and easy to book an appointment generally on the same day.

Even though we arrived 10 minutes from closing, all the staff were fantastic and helped us sort through and unload our enormous load. In particular Jay, Andrew, Billy and Scott were beyond patient and helpful. Highly recommend.
