St Abbs Harbour
A beauty of a harbour. A very typical east coast fishing village, but this one is really in a special location.A very popular diving location, and with frequent boat trips in season. This can be a busy place. If you drive here, be thoughtful when you park. Your parking fees in the harbour area support the harbour trust. The St Abbs lifeboat is located here. It’s independent now, after the RNLI withdrew, so do support them if you can.

Picturesque little harbour with a backdrop of dramatic cliffs. Very attractive buildings and nice to see it's still a working harbour with lots of fishing boats. The public parking area by the harbour is reasonably priced and a good starting point for walks around the village. Lots of seabirds around.

We went there unplanned but we’re really impressed as we had a small walk through the very cute little town with this very nice small harbour. There is a small car park (payed) right at front and a small cafe where they sell food and drinks. There are also publics toilets at the car park for wich they charge 30p.Toilets are okay.

Such a lovely little harbour village! I visited after opening hours for any cafes. I just wanted to see the Thor house. But I stayed and watched the ocean for a while as it was a sunny day. I’d come again as they offer a lot of activities at the harbour.

Absolutely beautiful. Water so clear you can see everything. The jelly fish, the plant life, right to the bottom!

Hidden beauty, very small, quiet and friendly. Cafe on the harbour is brilliant and the sights are a must see for anyone looking for nostalgic memories

Just a lovely harbour and we saw seals.I had a crayfish roll at the café there, so that was a plus. There is a great visitors shop there with with very helpful staff. We parked at the National Trust car park and it was a lovely walk into St Abbs. There is a lovely art shop (I had to buy), cafe and toilets (free), but 30p in St. Abbs. By parking there it avoids what I believe is a more expensive car park in St. Abbs and it's basically a one vehicle road to get in and out of the harbour (so delays can happen).Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful place to visit... traditional working harbour away from the money spending traps of coastal seaside holidays. Sitting on the Berwickshire coastal path St Abbs Harbour is nestled in on a steep cliff side but the views are well worth the climb up from the car park. With a nature reserve above and rock pooling to be done it won't be boring.
