First tattoo after MD was recommended by a mate who had some amazing artwork done by them. From consultation to performing 5 hours of tattoos everything has been utterly professional, friendly and felt like an artistic/ creative process. Dobby is cool and a lovely person- she loves her work and takes immense pride in it and I think it comes out in her needle! Great craic with other customers and tattooists. At the end of the day they spent the whole time cleaning and sterilising kit- so much behind the scenes, really top outfit, professionals. If you have any anxieties, fears or concerns about getting a tattoo talk to these guys and let them steer you through it.

Had a very meaningful tattoo done by Dobby. Beautifully done, exactly what I'd envisioned. She's great to chat to and instantly puts you at ease. Also makes a cracking cup of tea.

Had an appointment with Dobby today for a full colour, bold, Jurassic Park inspired leg piece. Dobby was fantastic - from initial consultation call she really understood the type of tattoo I wanted, once the line art came over she was great at explaining the colours used and how the different shading would look, and was open to any changes I wanted (which there weren’t any!). Day of the appointment she was incredible, customer care is top quality and the finished piece is everything I wanted and more. Can’t recommend her enough!

Just had my sleeve finished by the amazing Dobby. She’s brilliant with colour, loves what she does and I couldn’t be more pleased. Also, feel like I made a new friend. Highly recommend this shop - very professional but incredibly friendly and jovial vibe. I’m far happier with my arm than I thought I’d be.

I had such an amazing time and experience at monki do !! This was done by Dobby tattoos and it was my first proper tattoo. Such a warm and loving experience❤️ really made me feel at home and welcomed. I can’t recommend this place enough and Dobby is such a talented person !!! I couldn’t recommend Dobby more highly..Today was my first “big” piece (my 3rd tattoo) and the whole process from start to finish was great. From the initial consultation to today, communication was great and I really felt Dobby understood what I was hoping to get from the design.You’ll see from the images that the final result is wicked and I know once it’s healed, those colours are going to really pop.Dobby worked a couple of meaningful elements into the design, including my children’s initials and I couldn’t be happier with it.Apart from the sapphire, I left the choice of colours to Dobby and I’m glad I did as I could never have got close to how stunning I think it looks.It was a long (for what I’m used to anyway) session but the time flew by with great chat and enough breaks to give my leg chance to settle.I can see the love that’s gone into this and I’ll be proud to wear it forever.Already got a pretty clear idea of what I want on my left calf so I’ll be booking it in soon and there’s only one artist that will be doing it for me,Thanks Dobby, I love it, just buzzing and can’t quite believe I’ve got it on my leg!(Would give a 6 star review if there was another star!)

The epitome of a contemporary tattoo studio. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Andy, the owner, and Mark are both the greatest guys with a wealth of professional knowledge and exceptional talent gained through years of dedicated experience, as their respective portfolios suggest. Then there is Jordan(Dobby), a totally lovely up and coming tattoo artist, who is building up an amazing portfolio of her own.Andy is currently in the middle of personally designing and inking an extensive full-sleeve, across the top of his back and into a half-sleeve tattoo for my husband, of which the detail is utterly astounding.Mark has designed and inked two of my tattoos, both beautifully accomplished pieces that I have received many complimentary remarks about.Dobby was just starting out as a tattoo artist when my husband and I had our first session at Monki do and after seeing what a wonderful body of work she is building up I asked her to design and ink my most recent tattoo, which I couldn’t be happier with.We receive such a warm welcome and enjoy our time at Monki do so much that my husband and I try to coincide our sessions so we can make a day of it!❤️

Have gotten all of my tattoos here, from Dobby. I would highly recommend this place the staff are welcoming and talented. The building is clean and comfortable I have literally no complaints.

Had my first tattoo aged 48 with Dobby. It’s perfect, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Dobby made me feel so welcome and comfortable whilst she worked her magic, and the whole atmosphere at Monki Do is warm and friendly. I’d absolutely recommend.
