An Orthodox Church in Colchester. Very peaceful environment to Pray and meditate.

We've been there for our child christening and was fun and relaxing. The Romanian priest was friendly and answered kindly to all our questions and requests.

The church back in the day used to serve as a shelter to accommodate soldiers during the war period. Many icons around with portrayed Saints. Very warm and welcoming setting.

Placed in Colchester, United Kingdom is a very pleasant way of spending some time with you and your belief. Here are mainly gathering in belief Russian & Romanian people.

I love this place. It is a nice community. The church is big, it has a place where you can make yourself a coffee or a tea, some sitting area inside where you can eat and bring food to share with others. Also a playroom inside and a play area outside. A pleasure to spend the morning on a Sunday. In the summer they use the garden as a parking area and in the winter you can find parking on the nearby streets.The playroom is very handy when the young children want to do something else than listening to the prayers. Highly recommended.

Beautiful choral singing and liturgy in three languages (English, Slavonic and Romanian). There are beautiful icons and a unique atmosphere. Very nice people and an unmissable experience. Members of the congregation don't say anything during prayers or liturgy. It is normal to stand for the duration of the service, but there are some chairs if you need to sit down. Sunday services normally start at 10am. The church is only open during services.
