Absolutely amazing trip away. Second to bone hospitality, incredible cooking, and a spacious living area. The views are spectacular, and there isn’t a sound at night so I slept incredibly. I feel renewed and refreshed. Lucy is a very talented yoga teacher too. Thank you Henry, Lucy and family for a lovely stay!

Myself and my sisters went for the Yoga Retreat , with massages. Lucy was friendly and made us feel very welcome, and cooked us wonderful evening meals. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast included home made bread. The yoga sessions were spot on.. We all learnt a great deal from Lucy, a very competent teacher. Her massages were just perfect . Lucy seemed to know the exact parts of the body that required working onIt also proved to be a perfect spot to explore Northumberland from , as well as the village having some great walks. Would definitely repeat the experience. A big thank you to Lucy ( and family).

I had the best time on the yoga retreat, it was just what I needed. I was able to finally “switch off” from my busy job, through the yoga classes, restorative yoga workshop, the Swedish massage and cuddles with the cat. Lucy and Henry were incredibly friendly and approachable, and made me feel welcome throughout. It was lovely to get to know Lucy and she even offered me soup on the Saturday night which was incredibly kind, as well as some gluten free cake and tea on the Sunday after restorative yoga. They accommodated for my every need, being Coeliac and vegetarian, and all the food was gluten-free, including cereals, bread, and even some lovely gluten free biscuits. There were lovely little touches in the bedrooms and they had a gorgeous view overlooking the fields and the sea. It is in such a lovely location and I would recommend The Running Fox in the village for some lunch. Almouth and Alnwick were both only around a 10 minute drive away, which meant you could go for a beach walk, or go shopping in all of the unique shops in the town! I will absolutely be coming back again and I have recommended it to all my friends.

Wow! Just had a Thai massage with Lucy and for the first time in years I’ve managed to put my socks on without having to huff and puff. Whole body feels loser and not aching! That woman is amazing! xxx

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at a Space to Be. Lucy and Henry were excellent hosts. From the moment we walked through the door there was an air of calmness and serenity. The mindful yoga session on the Friday night was a godsend after a long busy week. The rejuvenating yoga session on the Saturday morning was very invigorating and reminded me of why I enjoy yoga so much. The massage topped off the most pleasant short break with my dear friend. The best massage I have encountered in more than 20 years. Our time in Shilbottle gave us quality time to catch up in a lovely haven. I feel restored and refreshed and I will definitely be returning all being well.

I attended Lucy's classes from the start of my pregnancy, up to a few days before giving birth, and continued on from when my little girl was 2 weeks old.I can't recommend Lucy and her classes enough, I felt totally relaxed during my pregnancy, it was lovely to meet other ladies, and speak openly in a supporting atmosphere. It was good to hear other peoples stories too. In hindsight I wish I would have found & attended Lucy's classes when we were trying for a baby, as it can be a lonely and difficult journey, and having that support group from the very beginning would have made a huge difference.I loved the Wednesday morning class with Freya when she was born, it was the favourite part of our week, and I would have gladly just come to sit, have tea & biscuits, and be looked after. The yoga was really good, Lucy listened to what the Mums and babies wanted to do each week, and tailored her class to us. There was no pressure to participate if you weren't in the mood, or just needed a nap.Freya loved the nursery rhymes, ball pool and parachute as she got older.

It really is the space to be - a great place with a beautiful view across to Coquet Island. Our warm welcome from Lucy & Henry, included a soothing foot bath with salts & rose petals.Lucy is very helpful in every way & such a good professional instructor.Enjoyed a relaxing evening yoga session with Nidra & restorative yoga followed by a tasty, healthy veggie meal & homemade chocolate brownies.Rooms are very comfortable with thoughtful extra touches like natural body products & you can watch the sunrises from comfy armchairs with foot-rests.Lovely choice of gluten free foods for me & wholemeal bread made for my friend.Calming morning yoga session in the sunny studio.Fantastic thai massages in Lucy's safe hands. Thanks Lucy for a wonderful restorative weekend!

A Space to Be provided me, my mum and sisters a relaxing getaway for a short yoga retreat. Lucy and Henry are very welcoming and it is situated on the edge of a peaceful village. The yoga with Lucy was relaxing and restorative which we really enjoyed. We'd recommend a massage with Lucy which was also lovely! The home cooked food is delicious and we would definitely come back again :)
