Richmond Station beautiful venue. Really good night with a professional, friendly team. Love that many of the staff are volunteers, money is not what motivates them. They make guests feel part of the team and make a point of stepping back and guiding - rather than scaring and 'showing off'. Had really positive experience, will definitely go with them again and recommend them to anyone-sceptic or not.

After spending several months watching vids online about ghost hunts and the equipment that was used, I finally thought to look to see if there were any local to me which is when I stumbled upon Lone Vigils! As I am ever so slightly impatient haha I wanted to get booked ASAP! The Robert Atkinson Centre was the earliest opportunity, my sister in law and I are both interested in the paranormal, so we booked it and counted down the days until it was time to go. We were last to arrive (sorry guys!) but everyone was so lovely and welcoming and happy to share stories of events they had previously been to. We started the event in the hall with a white light ceremony (I could be misremembering the name but I believe this is what it was called) for protection and to set our boundaries with any spirits we were to speak with. After this we sat in the hall and soon enough we heard some tapping and knocks, none of us had moved. I can be a bit skeptical with some things and have to see it to believe it, but there was no way these noises could be explained.Now I am not an overly emotional person, I rarely ever cry but every single time the bear lit up in the hall, I got a tightness in my chest and just felt an overwhelming feeling of sadness to the point my eyes filled and I started crying. As soon as we left the hall that feeling disappeared. We moved to a few other locations and tried a few other methods and at one point heard a growl on three separate occasions. Activity isn’t always guaranteed which is absolutely understandable but I would 100% book another ghost hunt, especially since I ordered some dowsing rods for my sister in law and myself the next day and we were even looking at other events on the drive home! Definitely recommend! Thank you!

Amazing evening with this group at the Galleries of Justice. Love this team, they go above and beyond to include all and are passionate about the authenticity of the investigation, willing to take on board others experience. Professional and honest could not ask for more x

Been following and attending many events with this amazing group since August 2021. I really enjoy going on events with Lone Vigils as they are so welcoming and put you at ease wether your a solo traveller or in a group. I have met so many like minded people that I now call friends. The team are very knowledgeable and bring along a varied amount of equipment for you to use if you wish. They work very hard in bringing you the very best of venues, including ones in Scotland as well as in the North East. Each time I have been to any event you are always provided with free snacks, teas and coffees throughout the event. They also offer a wide range merchandise you can order on website, or buy on the night, my last 2 events i purchased a trick or treat box of sweets where you can win merchandise or money off future events or will you have a trick where you are challenged to do a Lone vigil if your brave enough! They offer a payment plan if needed, also before you arrive full details of how to get to event and what to bring. Honestly if you are ever thinking of trying it for the first time please use this team. I love these guys! Very reasonable in there prices. Already got another 4 events booked in this year

This was our first Ghost Hunt ever, and the location of the Castle Keep at Newcastle couldn't have been a better venue!Chris, Michael and team did a great job looking after us, from setting our expectations and explaining how the evening would go, introducing us to the routines and rituals involved in this type of activity, and showing us how to use the equipment they provide for participants.Some tips for fellow newbies like us. Come in with an open mind. Wrap up warm, the evening at the Keep was COLD. Bring some food and drink (although tea is provided).The group we were with were friendly, and we had a fabulous time. Highly recommended!

Had our first ghost hunt at the victory tunnels. We loved it. The hosts were great. Very knowledgeable. We loved it so much we have already booked our next one

This was our 1st experience (my husband and I) of a paranormal investigation and we we're a little apprehensive before we went into Elmwood Community centre. We needn't have been. We were made to feel very welcome by the investigators and guests alike, and everything was explained to us before the investigation began. The investigators were professional but also light hearted, keeping the energy high, and we got a lot of activity! We absolutely loved it and can't wait to join the team again for another investigation! Top notch!
